Battleground: Uraya 6 - 2
Date of Scene: 05 January 2020
Location: Uraya
Synopsis: Decepticons successfully defend the Uraya region.
Cast of Characters: Quickswitch, Jazz, Deadlock, Sinnertwin, Goth


Deadlock has posed:
    While Starscream and Megatron are busy overrunning Protihex, others are fighting on the Uraya front. This time it's the Decepticons trying to repel Autobot forces. Deadlock, Goth, and Sinnertwin are on point, with Deadlock in the control center deploying drones toward the enemy. "Yeah, heavy hitters in the lead as usual." he mutters to himself as he launches the automatons.

    Panels in the outer walls open, and the drones fly out to wreak all kinds of havoc on the 'Bots.

Goth has posed:
     Goth was flying over head as the live gun fire sprays a crossed the battlefield, he'd take note one of two of the more concerning autobot Signals that has come into rage, and he lets out a curse. "<<It seems they've brought Quickswitch onto the field.>>" Goth would report to the others as he made a quick turn, and dove to the ground.


"<<I shall be attempting to quickly nip that before it becomes an issue.>>" He'd report, once close enough to the ground, he'd transform into his robot mode, and pulling one of his drones from his sob space, lobbing it at Quickswitch.

Sinnertwin has posed:
There is a monster stalking the grounds, because that's what guard beasts do. Other than this ain't no fairy tale and that's not mere creature, it's an nasty Terrorcon.

And a well rested one thanks to Swindle as his persistance with pillows.

Back and forth, back and forth, it looks almost like he's just pacing.

Until one realizes that his path is constantly keeping him directly in front of the main barricades as a sentry should be, ready to face down all opposition.

Jazz has posed:
Jazz just arrives on the seen as the drones attack, throwing up and arm to block most of the incoming fire he says to his groups.

<<Looks like they were waitng on us. Lieutenant, take your team and set up a position for a frontal assault. I will take mine and attempt a flank,>> after a pause he looks up in the air at Goth. "Oh. I rememeber that guy. Hello hairy," he says before his shoulder flame pops out and spews at Goth. "Hairy COn meet Betsy. She likes Cons."

Quickswitch has posed:
OW. OWWWW! Quickswitch barrels right through the attacks that sear through the metal of his wings, stinging, burning. He hisses as he bears down on the defenses. He opens fire as he makes a dive for them, twisting in the air and willing the pain to cease.

Goth has posed:
     Goth lets out a panicked screech as he's licked by the flames, and a good portion of his armor gets straight up melted, there's no lasting flames though, so that's good.. still, not good all the same! He tries to clear his visuals, given the horrid sunspots Jazz has caused!

     "You'll pay for that!" He snarls.

Sinnertwin has posed:
That defensive strategy might of worked better if Jazz wasn't distracted by Goth, and the Autobot knockoff of a sixchanger going for an aerial strafing run. There's more gunfire than Sinnertwin could aptly get in the way of despite being a big chunky lizard-thing.

As much as he likes Goth as a fellow freakish creature, he hates there being a wannabe Sixshot more. Which is why he transforms, pulls out his rocket rifle and fires after the flying craft. "Get down here and die like a real warrior!" Fanatic fanboyism at work or something.

Deadlock has posed:
    << Ground that sixchanger, got to be their main source of firepower. >> Deadlock says over the comms. Good thing Sinnertwin is already on it! He climbs out of the control room and gets into an artillery launcher along one of the walls, charging it up before firing a plasma shell up at Quickswitch.

Jazz has posed:
Jazz rolls on the ground to avoid the attack from Goth and considers the Con for a while before looking at the base.

<<Lieutenant, if your frontal attack isn't going to well, resort to whatever tatics you see fit. We are approaching the flank and attacking the defenses."

Jazz rolls on to his belly and in a flash of light his rifle appears. He squeezes off one laarge round and then begins to move again.

He focus of course goes to find Goth after he moves.

Quickswitch has posed:
Hit this way and that, gaping holes in his armor and the bzzzt--Quickswitch manages a painful transformation--a smoking laser cannon is in the jet's place, aimed unsteadily and releases everything it has. The assault unit will prevail. The Autobots will prevail. The Decepticons will never--it fights on, grimly silent.

Sinnertwin has posed:
Sinnertwin is so busy hatefully shooting Quickswitch that he doesn't notice Jazz switching to shooting at the base. And then Quickswitch rips off being a giant cannon and also blasts the defenses. He points his weapon at the cannon, then turns and points it at Jazz, then back at Quickswitch.

Then decides this isn't working. He transforms, scrapes the ground a few times, and then lowers his heads and charges at Jazz to try and intercept him from hunting down Goth.

Goth has posed:
     Right their ignoring him! good, He'd take a moment to transform back into his bat mode, finally getting his Visor clear, he goes after Quickswitch once more, this time with his fangs! "<<Working On it!>>" he'd report back to deadlock.

Deadlock has posed:
    Deadlock watches as Quickswitch continues his assault despite taking heavy damage. The outer defenses are still there, but he knows that won't be the case for much longer if they don't take out the heavy hitters. << Keep up the pressure! >> He brings up another display, this time to deploy Marauder turrets.

Quickswitch has posed:
The cannon's barrel dips and falls. As Quickswitch plummets to the ground, he struggles to transform. Painfully, slowly, he emerges as a mishmash with front legs and the head of a beast. He reaches out to the nearest target, jaws opening in a desparate bite... ...and he falls...

Jazz has posed:
Jazz is now engaged with the hideious beast. The -other- monster tackles him and takes his back qutite a ways however the initial impact is abosorbed and Jazz stills himself, "You should have stayed on the wall Con," and falling to his back he attempts to use the momentum to flip the COn over his body, <<Bots, if you must withdraw, do. We are doing fine on the flank.>>

Sinnertwin has posed:
Sinnertwin got between Jazz and Goth, that's the only thing he was really thinking about. Not that he was going to get flipped over by the Bot that did not look strong enough to do so. The concept of using style and momentum over strength doesn't really occur to him and Jazz does so with little issue. Crunch!

It leaves a nice impact crater in the ground as well as Sinnertwin rolls back over onto his paws. One head groans and looks a little dazed by the blow, while the other snarls and bares his fangs at Jazz. Some smoke and embers hiss out of the corners of his mouth. He's got flame breath, right?

Moot point, it was a bit misleading as Sinnertwin blasts a stream of flame from his back-mounted cannon instead. Fwooosh!

Goth has posed:
     Goth quickly kicks himself back into the air after draining Quickswitch's reserves, to keep from crashing with him, and pants, scanning the field over for the other combatants, it's going to be a while before Quickswitch can shoot again so... His optics fall to Jazz.. He's still mad about that fire!

Deadlock has posed:
    Deadlock watches Quickswitch fall with satisfaction. << The sixchanger is down, make sure he stays that way. >> Seeing that Goth and Sinnertwin seem to have Jazz handled, he just focuses on laying down the fire on the rest of the battlefield, although he does check the structural status of the base. Still in the moderate range as before...good.

Quickswitch has posed:
Quickswitch summons up the last of his strength and makes a shameful retreat from the battlefield, <<Jazz......>>

Jazz has posed:
Jazz flips Sinner then dropping and rolling avoids the flame fired his way but in the mean time gets attacked by Goth.

He didn't forget him but yeah...it's a two on one.

<<Slag! OK. take the units with you as you need to to retreat, we are not all down here yet."

As he rolls over grabbing his shoulder he locates the Vampie Bat Thingie, "Two on one huh?" he looks between teh two, "You know that if I wasn't trying to top this base that I would take the both of you on!" and a small weapons pops oout of his shoulder taking at shot at Goth.

Sinnertwin has posed:
Sinnertwin would shoot more at the not-Sixshot, but he's distracted by keeping Jazz from not out-right murdering Goth in some way. "Such noble nonsense." "Should run with tailpipe between legs like flunkies!" He lunges at Jazz again, this time trying to slash at him with his big ugly claws instead of the horns.

Deadlock has posed:
    And the sixchanger runs like a coward. Hah. Deadlock smirks, peering down at Jazz before leaping down to stand nearby. He doesn't attack, though, just letting the Autobot tussle with the Terrorcon. "Just don't know when to give up, do you?" he asks, shaking his head.

Goth has posed:
     Goth pulls away, having been hit by the bullet and just grumbles, energon dripping from his jaw where he'd pinned Jazz, he'd step back to let Sinnertwin handle it. "I don't appreciate the fire." He says dryly.

Jazz has posed:
The claws rip through is chest plate and he falls to his knees but it doesn't stop him at all..well it kind of does.

<<Autobots. Retreat. Reserve forces, lay down covering fire. Everyone else, transform and get out of here. We have lost our big guns. However, I am going to drop this monster first.>>

With that and after a few feints he acutally reaches in to go hand to hand with the monster!

"Let's see if two heads are really better than one!"

Sinnertwin has posed:
In this case it might be! Jazz punches a mo-fo in the ugly face!... But Sinnertwin does have two of them. The one is taking most of the punishment right now. The other mainly looks annoyed. "Fine, if not gonna leave, we just make your grave here!" Not the most clever of come backs. But it does seem to be what he's actually trying to do, as he tries to jump on Jazz and crush him into the ground under his bulk.

Jazz has posed:
Well, that's not good. Jazz finds himself under Sinnertwin. Ouch. A quick kick upwards to move him just a little.

<<It's offical bots, full fledged retreat. Everyone out.>>
r Jazz throws a kick SInner's way to get him off as he is now the last line of defense for the retreat.

Sinnertwin has posed:
Fun Fact: Sinnertwin's underbelly is not nearly as heavily reinforced as the rest of his bulk. The kick makes him *HRRK* loudly and cough soot as he's bounced back off the annoying Autobot, stumbling backwards and then landing on his rump.

Even more rude, Jazz is paying more attention to his radio than his fight. Or at least that's how it seems to brute. Not like he can't actually hear what's being said.

Annoyed enough now to not care about it being a 'fun' fight he stands up, pulls out his launcher and lobs a few shots at the Autobot. "Idiot! I'm over here!"

Jazz has posed:
Jazz looks to his left and his right. Front and Back then nodding in satification he begins to retreat only to be banged up with rockets splashing all around him.

<<This is Jazz. I am inbound...heavy damage. Have the Repair Bay ready for casualties! En Route>>

But in the real world he tumbles through the debris field transforming and getting to the task of running away! Transforming sound and full speed away from the fort!

Sinnertwin has posed:
"Finally! Sinnertwin shoots his launcher off a few more times, but it's just in the air to celebrate. Every victory needs some fireworks, right?

Deadlock has posed:
    Deadlock arches a brow at the Terrorcon as Jazz takes off. "'Finally'? Don't act like you didn't enjoy that at least a -little- bit." he remarks.
