The Hunt Concludes
Date of Scene: 26 April 2020
Location: Gray Area
Synopsis: Prowl and Shockwave finally catch up with Phantom, but he's hardly himself.
Cast of Characters: Phantom, Prowl, Shockwave

Phantom has posed:
Once Shockwave arrives in the hangar, he may immediately be on guard - though the lights in the bay are off, the lights inside the ship are still on. That's strange, seems like no one else is here, save for Prowl, and now unconscious A1??

A cursory scan of the perimeter will show no life signs currently in the area, but wait--! Shockwave's diagnostic is bleeping, recommending he run a more in depth scan of hangar because...foreign particles have been detected? Well, that's telling...

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave lands, transforming as he does. He does so as quietly as he can, at his size. << Be on your guard. >> he tightbeams, though he assumes that Prowl's fabled powers of observation have not failed him. He begins scanning more in depth, his focus on the ship that Prowl noticed on his arrival.

Prowl has posed:
Hmm. Prowl notes the lights on inside the ship. Is someone hiding in there? He starts doing his own scans, searching for any evidence of Phantom's presence. << Pick up on anything telling? >> he answers Shockwave on the comms, as he carefully approaches the hatch, examining the partially bent metal. << It looks like there was some kind of a struggle, here. >>

A1 has been mostly forgotten by now.

Phantom has posed:
Shockwave may notice the tiny stain on the ship's hatch at this point, but he will soon be distracted from that by the results of his diagnostic.

They've returned a heat map of where Phantom has used his abilities, and the ship is nearly a giant blotch of red.

The most curious thing, though, is that Phantom appears to have left him a message of sorts by invoking his abilities in the shape of these three words.

TRAPPED. SHOCKWAVE HELP

The message is indeed mysterious, as it does not seem likely that Phantom is being kept hostage here somewhere. But one thing will be clear, Phantom is in the vicinity, probably as near as the immigration gate, which is the next building over. But where exactly in the immigration building, will remain unknown for the time being - trying to use their navigational systems will end in failure, as it did before.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave's optic flashes as he examines the results of his scanning results. As he does, he posits << The security forces spoke of an 'early shutdown'. Have they placed inhibitors on their colonists to enforce this curfew? I doubt you traveled fast enough to damage the small one. >> He pauses, << Phantom has been here. And he appears to be in jeopardy. We should move quickly. >>

Prowl has posed:
Phantom, in danger? Prowl contemplates this. He doesn't have any way of verifying this, but thus far Shockwave doesn't appear to have any motive to trick him. He glances at A1 upon the observation that he's unconscious, but it seems he is undamaged, so it doesn't produce much concern. Right now, finding Phantom is the priority.

<< Yes, but to where? >> he asks in response. << Is there a trail of some kind? >> He starts prying at the hatch to the ship. It might be worth investigating, even if it doesn't appear anyone is in there.

Phantom has posed:
Shockwave will notice that there is indeed a trail towards the immigration building, but it's tapering and fading quick. If they want to follow it, they'll have to move quickly.

Just at that moment, A1 wakes up. "Aaaah!" he cries. "Who are /you/? Ohh, you only have one optic. That's cool." He then looks around. "/Where/ am I?"

It would appear A1's memory has been wiped - though how much, will remain a mystery for now, as there will be more pressing matters to immediately tend to - not even a breem later, the lights in the hangar switch on, and they'll be able to hear the sounds of Sector D coming to life outside.

They might.. need A1 as a distraction/crutch again.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave starts to move toward the immigration building. << We must hurry. The signal is fading, and our chances of being discovered grow by the moment. Bring the small one, he could jeopardize the operation. >>

Prowl has posed:
Prowl watches Shockwave starts to move toward the building in question. Then he glances at A1, who suddenly wakes up and doesn't seem to remember them. So that's it, they keep wiping the citizens' memory, effectively brainwashing them. It sounds all too familiar.

He transforms quickly and starts heading after Shockwave. << You bring him, then. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to remember us any more, so I doubt he'll be of any further use. It's best he finds his own way back to ...Virtana. >>

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave would sigh, if exasperation were an emotion he felt. Nevertheless, he does not have time for this, and scoops up the youth, saying quietly, << You were out after dark. We are attempting to keep you safe. Stay close. >> He then continues on to the office, Prowl now in the lead.

Phantom has posed:
A1 gives Prowl and Shockwave a curious look. "Do you guys need help?" he says, "this is kind of a weird place to wake up, wh--Oh!" Without warning he is scooped up by Shockwave. "Wooow, must be great being so tall the time, I can see sooo far!" He notices Prowl transform and seems fascinated and shocked. "Wow!! He just turned into a transport. Can you do that too?" He asks inquisitively.

The immigration building isn't far, but it seems that bringing A1 along has eased the intimidating presence Shockwave has, the security guards who had been approaching the hangar frown at him briefly but then just chuckle when they see that he's holding onto A1. They seem so amused by Shockwave, that they don't even notice Prowl, who appears to be a transport driving itself.

Once inside the immigration building, they'll notice a receptionist sitting at desk in front of the elevators. She blinks upon seeing the three of them. "... May I help you?"

Prowl has posed:
Well it would seem A1's presence proved useful after all, if just for the appearance of being legitimate citizens. Prowl drives up and tries not to transform anywhere too obvious, before entering the building.

He approaches yet another receptionist as she asks them how she can help. "Yes, we are looking for a friend of ours." The Autobot replies, and pulls out the small holoprojector he had used earlier, to show her the image of Phantom.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave wisely does not loom quite as much as he did the last time he was in this area. He continues to carry the small mech, who now has his arms around his neck, and is looking around in wonder. This doesn't seem to phase Shockwave. He comes to a stop behind Prowl, and waits for the receptionist to respond, scream, or do something foolish.

Phantom has posed:
The receptionist squints, and then sighs boredly. "You know, unless you're authorized personnel, you're not allowed to know who comes through the immigration gate. So, sorry. But no can do." She then goes back to staring at the console screen behind the desk she's sitting.

Shockwave is not looming as much as before, but he is looming enough that A1 does indeed, have to cling to his neck and shoulder to keep from sliding off of the big mech and onto the floor.

However his looming does A1 some good, as from this vantage point he can see a bit of the console screen that the female receptionist is looking at. "..."

He then allows himself to actually slide off Shockwave and crash onto the the desk.

In the process, he 'accidentally' swipes her glasses off her face and into his own tiny chest compartment. The receptionist screams and falls off her chair, not noticing that A1 had taken her glasses.

"Oh sorry, ma'am! I didn't mean to do that!! But I think your visual enhancers fell down and got knocked over there, like next to the elevators."

The receptionist, apparently hardly able to see without them, makes her way in a disgruntled fashion towards the elevator. Meanwhile A1 swivels the console monitor so that it's facing Prowl and Shockwave, and they'll be able to clearly see security footage of the varying levels within the immigration building. One of the feeds actually shows that Phantom is on Level 56, walking with a bunch of important looking diplomats, who clearly work for the Exisential Havens.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave observes the security footage, "Resourceful. I am... impressed." He turns to move toward the elevators. He speaks to the receptionist as he approaches, "The small one has located your enhancers. They appear to be slightly broken."

Prowl has posed:
Prowl watches as A1 definitely still seems to be on their side, despite having his memory wiped. Interesting. Perhaps there had been some sort of imprint? Well that's something to contemplate another time, since it seems they have located their target. Level 56 is now the new destination.

He starts to search for an alternate way up, maybe a freight elevator, or stairs...

Phantom has posed:
The receptionist, now highly impaired visually, slams right into Shockwave, causing her further disgruntlement. "A-Ah.."

A1 nods and produces her spectacles from his chest compartment. Shockwave isn't lying about them though, they are... slightly broken. One of the lenses is completely cracked, and when she puts them back on, it falls out completely.

"..."

Meanwhile, Prowl will notice that to his far left, is actually a hangar for transports. And that within that hangar, are three freight elevators, specifically for moving transports up and down within the immigration building. Now, to just get past the hangar gate, which is being manned by one of the Havens personnel.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave would frown, but you know. This elevator is probably less ideal than an alternate route, and he returns to Prowl's side. << Do you have a plan? >>

Prowl has posed:
There it is. Freight elevators. Who knows why they need to move entire vehicles to upper floors but that's not currently a relevant question. << There are three freight elevators in the hangar. We could use those. >>

He nods to the receptionist. "Sorry about that, ma'am. We'll just be getting back to our transports, then." The strategist turns and goes back out, then heads around the side of the building to the main hangar doors, to see if anyone is guarding that side of it.

Phantom has posed:
The main hangar doors have two long lines of transports waiting to be swiped in, one for the flight enabled, and one for the vehiculars. The personnel here aren't terribly attentive. One of them is watching a LED screen of some type of sport, while at timed intervals pressing the button that allows the transports in. The other one is actually sleeping, and has the button in his cubicle taped down.

Prowl will notice that the reason why transports needed to moved to other floors is because there are actually road and airways coming out from almost every one of the upper floors. Apparently not every sector had an immigration gate, and Sector D's was central and merely a transit point for many of the 'deportees' or so they had been referred to. The hangar itself is actually quite small, the spaces there are saved for the Havens immigration staff. Why the receptionist hadn't bothered to ask them why they would be going back to their transports if they didn't work here, well, who knows. The receptionists here have not proven themselves to be very capable thus far.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave scoops A1 back up, and follows Prowl. "What do you know of this place, small one?" He has yet to refer to A1 by name. He scans the transport elevators, and makes note of the security personnel. << We must make haste. Either we disable them, or use subterfuge. This is your area of expertise, Autobot. >>

Prowl has posed:
Since it would appear the employees are not exactly paying attention, Prowl transforms and heads for the line with the one that is definitely asleep with the gate stuck in the open position. He'd let Shockwave decide for himself which line to get into. << Subterfuge until violence is absolutely necessary. Especially since they seem to be making it rather easy. >> he replies.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave transforms, falling in line behind Prowl, letting A1 ride within. He can hover pretty low to the ground.

Phantom has posed:
"It's really big!" A1 says, "I think they had problems building outward, so they built up, instead. They have a lot of different floors, because a lot of different kinds of people come through here, and because everyone is different they have to get special treatment because of what kind of person they are. I dunno why, but how you get treated right when you come here has to be secret from everyone else, which is why every floor is secret and separate and special and you can't get to it unless you get permission to ride the elevator." He glances at the inattentive personnel. "Guess it's not that hard to get permission. After that, they send you away to your new home! Not everyone gets to live in Sector D. I think if it did it would get too crowded here... " A pause. "Oh, and sometimes I think special guests come through the immigration gate. I dunno anything about them though. The big guys like to keep that a secret."

A1 is right, the personnel sleeping in his cubicle doesn't even notice that 1) Shockave is in the wrong line 2) Prowl and Shockwave are unmanned.

Well, those are pretty hard things to notice if you're sleeping.

Once inside, the freight elevators will open automatically for Prowl and Shockwave, permissing them entry.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave relays A1's statement to Prowl. As they enter the elevators, he adds << This facility is impressive, if somewhat primitive. I would prefer to know its function once we've retrieved Phantom. Perhaps he will be able to shed some light on the intent. >>

Prowl has posed:
Well that was easy enough. Once they had passed into the hangar, Prowl makes his way over to one of the freight elevators. He enters, making sure the doors are closed before he transforms again to look into operating it. First, he searches for a control panel and for some way to get to level 56, or as close as possible to it.

<< It looks like he's found some way to trick them, just like we have. Unsurprising, since it's not as if it's hard. Personally, I would be more interested in that shield they have up around this place. >>

Shockwave has posed:
<< Perceptive. It appears to be beyond their technological capabilities. >> He transforms as well, setting A1 down more carefully than Prowl would expect him to.

Phantom has posed:
The elevator's controls seemed to be gated by a badge swipe, but thankfully, A1 had managed to swipe the sleeping hangar gate personnel's badge. When the AI asks for ID, he quickly presses the badge against the detection device.

"Permission granted," the voice drones, "Which floor will you be traveling to today?"

Perhaps by primitive Shockwave meant their security and staff protocols. Their tech seems state of the art, but their lack of organization and actual talent to harness it is... pathetic to say in the least.

Prowl has posed:
"Fifty-six please." Prowl answers the AI. He arches a brow at A1, starting to think that maybe there was something more to this protoform than they thought. He was quite resourceful, it seems. Thinking ahead, and all that. "It's not for lack of technology. But it seems a very strong sense of complacency has set in. I can't help but wonder if there is a reason Phantom brought us here."

Shockwave has posed:
"Indeed. However, if he has been subjected to any of their memory experiments, he may be in significant pain and danger." He watches A1 closely as they (hopefully) travel. "What do you recall of your life before this place?"

Phantom has posed:
A1's optics curl in quarter moon shaped crescents, and he beams. He seems to sense that Prowl finds him resourceful and is flattered. "Is your friend Phantom a special guest?" he asks curiously.

Then he pauses when Shockwave asks him about his past life. "Ummm...well, I only remember that there was a war, and a lot of bad things happened, and all my friends and family died. Oh, except for my mom, I guess. It's all kinda.. fuzzy. I remember seeing a few things, like buildings blowing up, and my room being on fire, people on the ground... you know," he says quietly. "But other than that. I don't remember much. The lady said it was normal to forgot when really bad stuff happens to you."

Then the elevator dings. Looks like they're on Level 56 now.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave remains prepared as the elevator stops, but is prepared to step forward. He says nothing to A1's story, so much like other worlds he's seen. He prepares his scanners to continue to search for Phantom the moment they are free of the enclosed space.

Prowl has posed:
"You could say that." Prowl replies to the question about Phantom. "He is definitely very 'special'." As the elevator signals its arrival, he transforms again, in case anyone is standing there waiting or something. Then maybe it would look like Shockwave is bringing some transport up here or something.

He doesn't say anything about A1's past either. It sounds all too familiar, of course. The Autobot knows full well that there is plenty of that to go around.

Phantom has posed:
Once they step out of the elevator, they'll find themselves on a balcony over looking a lower floor. Standing in the mouth of hallway to the left on the lower floor is Phantom and diplomats they'd seen earlier on the security footage.

They're conversing normally, and Phantom seems to be just fine. What was that message that he'd left Shockwave all about, then?

At that moment, the security team lead they'd seen from last night arrives to the scene on the lower floor, looking frazzled and tired. Trailing him is the receptionist they'd seen at the platform dock when they'd first arrived at the Havens.

"..." The security team lead immediately goes up in arms when he sees Phantom, much to the dismay of the diplomats.

"The hell?" he says, shocked. "Did you guys /not/ read the security altercation report from last night? That ... /thing/ is definitely the same species as the violent mechanoids who took out my entire team last night."

The diplomats don't look pleased. "Please, calm yourself and put your gun away. He's a foreign affairs magistrate and our honored guest today, not a violent /monster/." He then turns to Phantom. "I'm sorry for disrupting you like this, seems our director of security is.. a bit tired from last night."

"This is /madness/. Don't you realize those /monsters/ are actually still out there, roaming around and doing only God knows what?? I've never seen anything like it before but they can turn into transports, so they could easily blend in without anyone even thinking to take a second look." A pause. "Not that they would, but.."

Then he scowls. "Slag this," he says, (or that's how the translator would relay it to them). He aims his gun at Phantom, but one of the diplomats jumps in front of him. "Please! Stop this nonsense. Lifeforms transforming into transports? You're damn crazy. Get out of here before I call your boss."

The goggle opticked receptionist is just, you know, standing there frozen, his spindly legs trembling. Wonder why that is....

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave watches from above, trying to discern the charade Phantom is exercising here. As the scene below plays out, he sends a very quick transmission to Phantom << Honored guest. You are not alone. >> As an afterthought, he indicates to A1 that he should remain silent, since silence isn't the little guy's strong suit.

Prowl has posed:
Once it would appear the coast is clear at least as far as the area right in front of the elevator, Prowl would finally transform again and watch the scene below unfold from the balcony. It shouldn't come as a surprise that he's brought the restraints previously used on Phantom, in the case he doesn't come willingly. But he won't get those out just yet.

This time, he'll let Shockwave reveal himself or talk to Phantom first. Since he's technically supposed to be the one who is the 'ally'.

Phantom has posed:
"<Well, well, well. Figured you'd turn out sooner rather than later>" Phantom tightbeams Shockwave.

He throws up his hands at the director of security. "I mean, he's probably not wrong, I've heard of them," he says, "quite the troublemakers, or so I hear." He then chuckles. "In fact, I think they're about bomb drop into our conversation," he says, "as in, they're probably, like on the balcony or something?" He grins. "Anyway, I don't have any association with them, so you can calm down." He says, smirking, though his hand dangerously near to where he keeps his photon blaster.

"<If you thought I was going to come quietly, well, you're wrong. I have every intention to make my leaving as difficult as possible for you>" Phantom transmits to Shockwave. How uncharacteristic of him, Phantom had never, ever displayed such rebelliousness and disobedience towards him, ever. This isn't like him at all. In fact...

Shockwave might not get to finish his train of thought, because just at that moment, the director of security has rushed up to the balcony and is starting to open fire on them. "Security, I need backup, asap!" He shouts. "Ten-forty drones, deploy, immediately!"

A1 has obeyed Shockwave for the moment, but when the director of security rushes up the stairs, he frowns. "Are you sure Phantom is your friend?" he asks, "I think he actually just wants to hurt you.."

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave's optic dims, as he diverts only part of his attention to assuming a defensive stance. To Prowl, he beams << Uncooperative. This will not be easy. I do not believe he knows you are with me, however >> That's all he's able to transmit, before the firing starts.

Without thinking, he places himself between A1 and the oncoming Head of Security, and the Drones. Is some of the Shockwave of old showing, or does he merely consider A1 a useful asset?

Prowl has posed:
Prowl scoffs at Phantom's claim that he has no association with them. "Oh, is that the case?" he suddenly calls out over the balcony. "Well then why did you lure us here? Don't play stupid with me, I -know- you intentionally left a trail, and I -know- you expected us to come after you. Now, we can either do this the easy way where you come willingly, or the hard way, where we beat the slag out of you and -drag- your aft back." And destroy anyone who gets in their way. Especially if they attack.

Speaking of which, security opens fire without further hesitation. << Shockwave, get after him. I'll take care of security. >> Surely, the scientist must have some weaponry designed specifically to neutralize his little pet...

Anyway, he turns toward his attackers, taking some of the incoming fire and dodging the rest of it. How much damage he takes is dependent on just how prepared these people were to take on a war machine. "You're going to regret that decision." he states, then fires a missile at them--security, drones, whatever may be coming his way.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave scoops up A1, dumping him unceremoniously into subspace, and leaps over the balcony, landing directly in front of the diplomats and Phantom. Since Prowl has opted for speaking in the open, he does as well, "You have selected an interesting place to hide." He should be close enough now to monitor Phantom's systems, and try to determine what has been done to him, or what he has done to himself.

Phantom has posed:
"Dammit!" the director of security cries when Prowl opens fire on him and the security drones which are arriving. He manages to dodge, but some of the drones get hit. Some of them hold up, but not all. The damaged ones fall over the balcony's edge, nearly crushing the now very discombobulated diplomats. The rest continue to pepper Prowl which energy blasts, and the SIC will have to do his best to avoid being scorched.

The goggle opticked receptionist is hiding underneath a table, looking terrified. "D-director, I'm receiving a transmission from security in the hangars. They found the dead body of the foreign magistrate and his crew inside their ship..."

"You /think/?" he cries. "That's honestly the least of my problems right now!"

Phantom, physically, seems unaltered. But he's not acting himself, at all. "Interesting because you had a hell of a time finding me?" He laughs. "You're welcome." He then jumps up, transforms, and opens fire on Shockwave.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave does not flinch as Phantom opens fire on him. Luck is on his side, though. He merely continues to speak, "Interesting, as you are either trying to bring this place to my attention, or you believe this 'refuge' can actually offer you something." He continues to try to pinpoint if Phantom's new demeanor was caused by external forces, or an attempt by Phantom to breach his own psyche.

"If it's the latter, you are misguided."

Prowl has posed:
Prowl whips out his photon blaster as the missile flies into them and explodes, starting to fire away at the drones. He does get scorched here and there, whilst ducking around corners for cover, but not enough to bring him down.

"If you value your life, you would be wise to stand down." he says to the security mech. Prowl wasn't the one who started attacking first, after all!

Phantom has posed:
Phantom frowns. "I came here to get away from you," he says, ascending higher. "Not because this place has anything 'special' to offer me." He then jettisons left, breaking a glass window pane to their left.

"You're the ones intruding," the director of security growls. "What the hell do you want, anyway?" The security drones continue to attack Prowl, and now it would appear some larger ones are on the way.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave transforms and pursues Phantom, still talking, not firing, "There is nowhere in this universe that will keep me from you, should the need arise. This is a newfound courage you have. It could prove useful, in the future."

He prepares to use the codeword, which will only work if uttered by him, and may not work if Phantom's psyche has been damaged too badly.

Prowl has posed:
"And you're the ones who attacked first." Prowl replies matter-of-factly. "I thought we already made that part clear. We are here for Phantom, and nothing more. Turn him over to us, and we will be on our way."

He ducks around a corner, noting the larger drones approaching. Peering through the scope on his photon rifle, he attempts to headshot it before it can even get close.

Phantom has posed:
"Are you trying to oil me up?!" Phantom says angrily, "Nice try but it isn't working!" he growls. He flies to a central area and lands on top of a building. Down below, the citizens are panicking. "I don't need you," He says, "leave me the hell alone."

He then raises his blaster once more and opens fire on Shockwave.

The director of security curses, and turns to a nearby console. "Damn trespassers." he mutters, "do I have your word, then? It's not that easy to reprogram the drones to register him as a hostile entity, because our protocols are poorly engineered."

Prowl has posed:
"Yes." Prowl confirms. "If we wanted to destroy things, we would have started doing so much earlier." he points out. "Turn Phantom over to us, and we will leave peacefully, barring any further hostilities from you or any of your people."

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave swerves slightly as he takes a hit. "I'm afraid I cannot do that." He loops around, and lands on the same rooftop, "Stand down, Helldriver."

Phantom has posed:
The director of security frowns, looking skeptical and remaining on guard, but it's not like he didn't plan on reprogramming the drones to register Phantom as a hostile anyway, he was just hoping Prowl wouldn't try to blast his helm off while he was doing so. He continues to work on reprogramming the drones, all the while keeping an optic on Prowl. Prowl doesn't make any moves on him, so he eases up a little after a breem or so.

When Shockwave addresses him by his old designation, Phantom's demeanor changes. He suddenly looks dazed, lost, and confused. But when he notices Shockwave, he looks relieved. "Shockwave! Thank Primus.."

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave simply says, "It is in our best interest to depart without delay." He tightbeams to Prowl << Phantom is mostly neutralized. We should leave, now. >>

Prowl has posed:
Prowl is too busy dealing with the drones to try shooting him in the head, anyway. That is, until the reprogramming is complete. He notices the change in Phantom's demeanor. Well there it is. The other personality. It seemed the use of that other name, 'Helldriver', had caused him to switch personas. << It seems that name triggered something. >> he observes. << I may have convinced security to stand down. >>

Phantom has posed:
Peering out the broken glass window pane, the director of security notices that Phantom seems to be ready to leave with ... the other intruders.

He scowls and turns to Prowl. "Alright, your person of interest is standing down. So /beat/ it." He aims his blaster at Prowl, to re-emphasize the fact that he needs to get gone, already.

Phantom transforms, ready to follow Shockwave back to wherever his ship is.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave leads Phantom back up to where Prowl is waiting. That should freak him out a little bit. Landing beside Prowl, he says nothing.

Prowl has posed:
"Lower your weapons." Prowl demands, glaring at the mech. "I didn't shoot you in the back, but since you attacked first, I can't be sure you won't do the same to me." He's also watching the drones with a keen optic, to make sure they don't make any further hostile moves.

Phantom has posed:
The director of security hesitates.

"...."

But after a moment or so, he slowly lowers his guns. His cold stare doesn't relent though, and his demeanor is still saying loud and clear that they need to leave, immediately, before he changes his mind.

Phantom is a bit disturbed by Prowl's presence, but honestly not that surprised. And unlike his other personality, he doesn't question Shockwave.

Shockwave has posed:
Shockwave nods to the security director, though not the least bit intimidated by him. The group makes their way back to the elevator and quickly heads for the hangar, where he is able to summon his ship. Undoubtedly they are followed, to make sure that's exactly where they are going.

Phantom has posed:
Indeed, the director of security has a few of the drones follow Shockwave, Prowl, and now Phantom all the way back to their ship, to ensure that they really are leaving.

Once back inside Shockwave's ship and on their way back to the portal, a small voice can be heard from the inside of Shockwave's subspace:

"Are we there yet? I'm tired of being quiet and I can't see anything in here."

Poke, poke.
