Cast of Characters: Blurr, Arcee

Arcee has posed:
Arcee is back in Translucentia Heights in vehicular mode, headed toward the cushy high-rise where she last saw the blue speedster some time ago. She hasn't been out here in some time, because patrols typically take her to more dangerous areas, but she really wants to see what sort of company he's been keeping. She's a bit worried that in his efforts to avoid problems, he may just head straight into them, especially with the political situation being as volatile as it's been in recent days.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr does have a habit of going charging into things without thinking, yeah. The waiting around trying to decide what to do thing doesn't really suit him very well. As luck would have it, Arcee would spot the blue speedster surging down the streets of Translucentia as if he were drag racing or something. Drag racing, here? Pff!

Arcee has posed:
Once Arcee catches sight of Blurr, she knows she doesn't have much of a chance in catching up to him without getting his attention. "<< Hey, hey! Blurr! Haven't seen you in a while! >>" Arcee calls over the frequency, cutting off a few mechs in an effort to not lose Blurr in traffic.

Blurr has posed:
<< Arcee? >> Blurr responds, suddenly slowing down and glancing behind him. He lets her catch up to him. "How are you?"

Arcee has posed:
"<< Good! Can't believe I lucked out and found you out here. Where are you headed? Got any time to talk? >>" Arcee asks, enduring the wrath of yet another Cybertronian as she cuts them off to pull up beside Blurr. (HONNNNNK!)

Blurr has posed:
"That's good to hear." Blurr replies. "I'm uh, just--" He trails off momentarily. "Nowhere in particular, I guess." The speedster answers, sounding a little bit tired. "Sure, I guess we can sit down somewhere."

Arcee has posed:
"<< Okay, great! I half-expected to find you surrounded by friends for some reason, >>" Arcee admits, as she decides to off-ramp at the next exit (much to the relief of some of the other travellers).

The off-ramp curves around, then narrows into a smaller road which leads toward a courtyard-type area, the perfect place to scoot to a stop and transform back to root mode. "Do you still have your place here? No one's been giving you any trouble, have they??"

Blurr has posed:
Blurr follows her off the expressway down to the courtyard, where he also flips up into his biped form. It's a nice area. Well, almost every area around these parts is nice.

He shrugs at her comment. Things were certainly...not the same as they used to be. Yeah, he still had a lot of so-called 'friends' and fans too, but...

"Yeah, sure. I mean, the Decepticons are always giving everyone trouble, so I guess you could count them."

Arcee has posed:
Arcee nods, and stares at the speedster worriedly. "...Look, I realize they can't 'catch' you, but they can sure make your life miserable if you stay out here. They could blow up the tower where you live," she points out. "I'm concerned that they're just going to continue pursuing you indefinitely, and maybe even isolate you from the very friends you could count on in a crisis."

Blurr has posed:
Blurr smirks. "Who, the Decepticons? Nah." He waves a dismissive hand. "I'm not worried about them." He leans casually against a decorative statue of Sentinel Prime. "We'll put them their place eventually, now that Megatron's gone. Without him, they're -completely- out of sync with each other. They're just like they used to be, disorganized and scattered. I mean, sure, it'll be a while, before things get back to normal, but Optimus has the right idea. We'll get them."

Arcee has posed:
Arcee brightens. This is what she had been /hoping/ to hear from Blurr. "Soooo...you're in, then? I mean, /in/ in? As in...staying at the base, going on missions, team player and all that? I know we haven't had the best, umm, fortune, with the Primes. There's been a few that have been...less than we needed. But Orion -- I mean, yes, Optimus, I believe things will be much different with him in charge."

Blurr has posed:
"Pff, well I'm sure not going walking into Kaon." Blurr shrugs. "And I'm not toughing it out on my own, either. I've been in the service of the Prime for a while and that's not changing any time soon, don't you worry. The Decepticons need to pay for what they've done. What they've turned this planet into."

Arcee has posed:
"Yeah, I hear you." Arcee nods slowly, then offers, "If you ever want to go patrolling out in the trouble spots, let me know, I'm a *much* better shooter than I used to be. And that's a promise. I've logged more target practice in the training room than many of the other bots!" She sounds like she's trying hard to sell her usefulness to a patrol, as she knows it wasn't all that long ago that she was actually a liability, and Blurr is one of the mechs who remembers it best. How the tables have turned!

Blurr has posed:
"Oh I believe you." Blurr smiles and pats her on the shoulder. "You're nothing if not studious." He pauses. "Uh, well, actually I didn't mean that. You're more than just a studious person. But you know what I meant. Patrol sounds boring, though. I just--" he sighs. "I just want to knock some Decepticon heads around and then throw them in jail where they belong."
