Target Practice
Date of Scene: 15 January 2017
Location: Training Simulators
Synopsis: Sparring sessions at the Decagon can get quite intense...
Cast of Characters: Blurr, Sky Lynx, Imager, Warpath

Blurr has posed:
The academy has a lot of training simulators designed for sparring and general combat practice. They are also used for runnning examinations for cadets. Today they are quite busy, with all occupied at the moment.

Blurr is in one of them, though he hasn't locked the door. Well he doesn't usually lock it, if people want to come in and see how great he is in action, then they are welcome to.

He probably shouldn't be up and about so soon already, given the injury he received from Blast Off earlier but he was never one to be a fan of waiting. Nope, he's twisting and turning and strafing back and forth to both avoid and blow up the many simulated holographic enemies he's currently up against. He's gotten through like 105 waves without taking a single hit, and he's focused on beating his personal best.

He whips around and slams an elbow in the face of another fake opponent, sending him sprawling over a virtual ledge, while shooting another in the chest with the other arm.

Imager has posed:
Imager tests out her leg, bending it at the knee several times. The Femme just had a nasty joint servo replaced in the medbay, as well as a transfusion of hydraulic fluid. She's got a hand on the corridor wall to steady herself as she does it. A bit antsy, she frowns at herself as her leg squeaks a little with each flex. "I dunno..." she says uneasily to nobody in particular, "I never had a knee replacement before...seems...squeakly." squeak. squeak. squeak. "Shouldn't do that..."

All in all though, she was grateful to walk again, that long seeded doubt about being left alone had gotten to her, enough so that she actually bothered to schedule sim time. Not that she had any idea what she was going to do, but she had this new fangled tribarreled plasma shotgun now, a memento of one of her Hot LZ compatriots that didn't make it, and...well....maaybe....maybe she needed to take this thing a little more seriously. She enters the sim room, ignores Blurr, activates the holodisplay, and puts herself down for 'next.'

Sky Lynx has posed:
"...so, then I say, well of course you couldn't! What did you expect when attempting to go against something like that?" He is speaking to...well, whomever happens to be behind him, in truth, as he comes into the holo-deck simulator thing. "Of course, naturally, I took care of the matter in proper form. It was easily dealt with -for me- and nothing more came of it. I'm surprised it never made it into the briefing logs. I thought I did rather well."

He takes a moment, tail flicking as he peers around at the others. "Imager, Blurr, always a pleasure to see you out and about. I am...not interrupting, am I? I was about to start up something, get some wing-time in and see about, well, you know what? I wouldn't think too much on it. I'm sure you've something spectacular planned here, don't you."

Warpath has posed:
Well Prowl said to go practice, so despite finding the idea of blowing up simulations a bit on the boring side Warpath went to do that. Except it seems like despite the tactician's suggestion the place is full up. Occupied.. occupied.. occupied... Oh this one isn't locked...

Except it's also occupied. "Must of WOOMP forgot to lock it." But it's just one speedster and a lot of simulations. A -lot- of simulations. And a very big ego.. I mean, air commander. And someone else already waiting. Though the soldier's optics pay less attention to the stocky femme, drifting to what she's holding instead. "Nice piece ya ZING got there, miss. Bet it KAPOW real good."

Blurr has posed:
As the others enter, the simulation stops once the last hologram has fallen and despawned.

    Maximum waves reached.

"Oh, -what-?" Blurr exclaims, more to himself than to anyone else. "I didn't know there was a limit." It's probably to prevent people who don't know restraint from killing themselves from exhaustion.

He turns around to find Imager, Warpath and Sky Lynx waiting in line. "Oh, heh. Sorry guys." Not that he's actually sorry. "Got a little carried away." He gives Warpath a funny look. "Are you--doing that on purpose?" he asks, referring to the strange noises he keeps making.

Imager has posed:
Imager has a few moments for herself, and she spends it preoccupied at her knee joint. squeak. squeak. She mutters softly, "maybe I just need a gr.." and then there is a majestic dinobird poking into the room. Mage howls in surprise as she turns around and falls right on her aftplate, "Yaaahhh!" Dumbfounded, she sort of sheepishly climbs back up to her feet, using the railing. "Uh no sir, I wasn't talking about getting greased. That'd be crude!..." And then Warpath shows up, and that's just great, everyone gets to see her make an aft out of herself. She deflects the conversation quickly as Warpath talks about her gun. "What, this?" She hefts the gun's weight in her hand, "Yeah, its...definitely a thing. Definitely....a gun..." She adds lamely, not very proficient in such things.

So caught up in her own issue, she does the worst thing in the world to Blurr....by ignoring him for the moment.

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx blinks at Blurr, then looks at the simulator. "Oh! We've seen that message before. We did tell the technician it was broken but...seems they haven't fixed it yet." He gives the machine a firm (albeit gentle) knock with his tail. "Hmm...right." Imager is given a brief look at talk of greased and whatnot before he just nods. "Right! Crude indeed..."

He looks at Warpath and just...well...just...just... huh. "I'm not even sure I know what it is you just said." He settles himself down and looks at the rest of the room proper. "Well then! I say let's get something running in here, hmm?"

Warpath has posed:
Warpath laughs at the complaint about the wave limit. "Some slag excuse BLAM about overtaxing the system, last time I asked." Then looks at Blurr for a moment, then back at Imager and Sky Lynx. Then mostly just looks confused. "You all act ZAMMO something weird is happening." It doesn't help in telling if its intentional or not that Warpath doesn't even have a lot of facial expression, other than the mouthguard with little slots that light up when he speaks. "You could just POW reboot the system and add that result to ZING the first one afterwards?"

Blurr has posed:
"...." Blurr just stares at Warpath for a while. He doesn't seem to have noticed that Imager is ignoring him. He glances at Sky Lynx. Then back at Warpath, as if trying to make sure he isn't the one hearing things. No, Lynx definitely heard it. "Is this some kind of joke?" he finally concludes. "I mean, okay haha very funny." he smirks.

"Right, let's get something running. What do we want to do? Maybe since Lynx is here we can run a space sim. We could spar. Bet none of you could hit me once." He says smugly, turning to the console to scroll through options.

Imager has posed:
Imager looks blankly at Blurr for a few moments, "Uh...well, i wasn't really wanting company, but I mean...I guess if the sims are overbooked, then..." She shuffles her foot apprehensively. squeak. squeak. She mutters a little, "Don't really know what I'd do in space, not exactly space capable here." Obviously, she's more than a bit reluctant to step in the ring with people that actually know what they're doing. Surely the tank knows how to fight, Blurr just proved it, and Sky Lynx...well, he certainly had the appearance of a veritable engine of destruction. And then there's Imager. Maestro Secundae of Cybertron....

She shifts her gaze around a bit, then snaps "Why's everyone looking at me?". Holograms aren't the only form of projection!

Sky Lynx has posed:
"Space would indeed be beneficial. As it so happens, thre's a fair bit of scouting i've been doing of late, and I'm certain we will start seeing our excursions move more and more into that realm before too long." He nods sagely at that before turning to look at the others. Though, Imager's question catches his focus.

"Looking at? Well, because one must look somewhere and, at times, said somewhere tends to align and be in the same place. Just so happens to be you." He nods. "Or...that's what I gather. For me, I was about to say something. Though, in light of the impending simulation, it is irrelevant now."

Warpath has posed:
The bragging gets another bark of laughter out of the tankbot. "You might wanna be careful who you BAM say that around." Taps a finger on the part of a cannon barrel jutting out of his chest. "The little beaut here might ZAM have something to say about it." Then lifts it to rub his fingers over his mouthguard thoughtfully, as if sizing up Blurr and possibly the others. "I did come down to WAMMO practice though..." And shooting holograms is only interesting for so long...

Blurr has posed:
Hah, was Warpath actually challenging Blurr's statement? Well, he's nothing if not competitive. "Oh yeah?" he smirks. "Really, you wanna put that to the test?" Nodding at Sky Lynx, he selects an "asteroid-like" environment. Barren, rugged, low gravity and cold with the stars stretching for what seems like infinity above. "How about this, free-for-all last mech standing, Asteroid Belt 1."

Imager has posed:
In a long, drawn-out word, Imager says bluntly, "NOOOOPE." She jerks her thumb at El Magnificque and says, "I'm a hoss but that there is a big ole..." She turns her head to Sky Lynx, as if trying to size him up, then looks back to Blurr, "Well he knows what he is." Apprehension still fills her face as she goes down the stairs slowly even after declining the offer. squeak, squeak. squeak. "I think this is a really stupid idea...and i'm just gonna say that I'm not really that good at all this anyhoo..."

She rubs the back of her neck as she stands on the simulator floor, near a big crater. "This is going to suck."

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx transforms into that shuttle mode, engines kicking on. "You are in my domain now, you know. Though, to be fair, it would probably be easier if it was you lot against the one of me, but even then...that would be unfair, wouldn't it." He rockets for some altitude, just circling over head. "I'll...hold back for the first round, unless you really want to lose from the get-go."

Warpath has posed:
"Ain't that all the more reason to BAM practice?" Warpath calls after Imager as she tries to retreat to some corner of the simulation. Oh well, her loss. He stomps a few steps off to the side, then grinds a treaded heel into the rocky ground and grabs one arm, pulling it up at an angle as if stretching. Even though he doesn't really use his arms much as some gunners do, for obvious reasons. "My, ain't he a ZING modest one." Even the otomotapia verbal tic doesn't hide the hint of sarcasm in that remark. "Let's see what ya mechs can KAZAP do."

Blurr has posed:
It looks like Imager is too slow. Blurr hits a button, and the room immediately begins to change, the sky darkening as pinpricks of white light appear, and the ground beginning to shift into a brownish-grey terrain covered with rocks jutting out in all sorts of strange angles.

Asteroid FFA selected. Session begins in 10...9...8...7... The AI begins to recite.

Blurr gets his defenses up, preparing for battle against his teammates.

Imager has posed:
Imager just sort of looks around awkwardly. "So uh....like now?" She just shrugs once as everyone seems to approve of the concept. They must be all Wreckers or something. "I uh...okay." It was going to happen, and she just had to accept it, dang it. Even if that Dinobird was totally going to wreck everyone. "I guess..." She draws her shotgun, and says absently, "I'm gonna shoot ya." as she aims it with one hand at Blurr. The weapon has a heck of a kick, but Imager's innate strength certainly helps keep her steady on as three barrels of hellfire roar out at Blurr.

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx keeps true to his word, circling overhead as he watches everything unfold below and...oh, well, who can honestly resist pulling off a nice aeleron roll while he's at it?

Warpath has posed:
Warpath lets Imager crack off a shot first. Less being polite, more being that while he doesn't have the ego SOME mechs do he does have a good deal of pride in his combat ability, so letting someone else shoot first so he can do better is fine in his mind. It also gives him a moment to settle in and make sure he's situated, because bothering to dodge over taking his shots really isn't something Warpath does. "I hope you can at least make this a ZING challenge, blue boy!"

Though while he's talking, he's also taking aim, to a refined point that the shifts in his barrel are minute at best. Not that it stays quiet when the retort of the cannon firing rips through the room, smoke puffing out of the vents in the muzzle to keep the recoil to a minimum and not throw off his aim.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr strafes twice and twists once, dodging both Imager's shotguns and Warpath's phosphex shell at the same time. "Challenging enough yet?" he laughs, taunting the tank. "C'mon, you can do better than -that-!"

Speaking of ego, the speedster's own is quite sizeable. Maybe not quite on par with Sky Lynx...well okay maybe it is. It's just expressed differently. He leaps behind a rocky outcropping and darts out from it just as quickly, attempting to get behind them and blindside them with an energy barrage before they can react. Oh, and just because he can, he sends one upward in Sky Lynx's direction too. Wouldn't very well be proper to leave him out of the fun, anyway.

Imager has posed:
Imager flinches as the stray shots come at her, "Wow, he's fast." She says to nobody in particular, a hand covers her face, partially absorbing the inbound gunfire. "Knock it off, showboat!" She jitters a bit apprehensively as she tries to decide what needs to be done. The gun didn't work, so maybe....

Imager starts stomping forward, taking a few moments to build up a head of steam, and while she's not really one to win a foot race, she certainly has momentum backing her up. She charges forward to just slam her shoulder into Blurr.

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx watches as Blurr sends something flying his way and just flips sidelong to let the stray shot simply pass on by. "Hah! You'll have to try harder than that if you hope to scuff my armor!" He does flip to dive down and fire a retaliatory shot back at Blurr, since...you know, he can. Because where's the fun in not returning the favor, hmm?

Warpath has posed:
And this is why Warpath doesn't bother with worrying about silly little things that might throw off his aim like dodging. Photon bursts ping off his armor, leaving little more than minor burns at best. "Could say the PEW same to you!" Though, even with a name like Blurr, the mech is a bit more evasive than he anticipated. Fortunately, he has a lot of options.

Like loading a different type of shell, machinery click-clunking within the mech's body as the cannon is reloaded. The sound of firing is a little less rambuncious this time, mostly due to the shot being a high velocity energy capsule rather than physical explosives.

Blurr has posed:
"Yeah, well why don't you come down here and fight? You're not afraid of the ground, are you?" Blurr teases the Lynx.

Hah, stop showing off? Never! Showing off was his profession before the war, that'll never go away. He dodges away from Sky Lynx's retaliatory shots, and out-maneuvers Imager's attempt to shoulder slam him, but Warpath manages to knock him flat with his energy blast. "Okay, okay, that was -better-." Blurr admits, getting to his feet quickly. "You finally hit me." he smirks, then transforms and charges straight at the tank.

Imager has posed:
This was going nowhere fast. Imager frowned to herself as she considered the situation at hand. Blurr was just too fast for her, and that insufferable taunting didn't make it any easier on her. She had thought about maybe engaging Warpath, at least him, she thought, she could hit, but then the speeder car was off like lightning. That left....

Imager looks up with a sigh at the mighty Dinobird, her shoulders slumping already in defeat. "Primus almighty, why is it that I gotta be the one to do this? Really...you all are slappin each other..." She raises her shotgun overhead, "While you should be helping me!" Imager actually covers her eyes after aiming at the mighty Lynx, "This...is a really bad idea." Plasma roars.

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx is focused on Blurr, so much so that he doesn't even notice Imager shooting at him until a system diagnostic warns him it's time to polish some scuffs out of his armor. He pulls his attack on Blurr and turns his attention to Imager. "Hah! Well placed shot. Well placed indeed!"

There's the whirr of well-polished and oiled gears as he lands, a solid 'thooom' reverberating from the spot he lands, and he straightens up to his full height. "Though, I suppose...hmm. Help? Dare I ask help with whom?" He then looks at Blurr. "Very well! You ask and you shall receive. Here I am on the ground." And...he just gives a broad sweep of that tail at...well, it's a small field. It's all three that get it.

Warpath has posed:
Warpath pumps a fist in the air. "And BLAMMO that's how it's done!" Then waggles a daggit at Blurr trying to brush it off. "You only said the challenge was to hit you, I still TWANG win. So if ya wanna just quite now PING I won't feel too ba--" Which he cuts himself off when Blurr transforms and races towards him. "--Ooh now it's on!"

Warpath hunches down and forward a bit, bracing himself for a collision... that doesn't actually happen as Blurr speeds past him. "Wha? I didn't even move..." *FWOOSH* No that wasn't his weird verbal tic, that was the sound of the sonic shockwave Blurr -was faster than- catching up, the resonating blast flooring the soldier into the rocky surface. Followed by a grunt, and holding up an hand. "That one ZOWIE I felt."

Instead of getting up off his skidplate Warpath just opts to transform, treads crunching into the simulated asteroid rock as he starts rolling. As he's rolling along the massive tail smacks against his side, rocking him back and forth but not enough to actually tip him over thank Primus. "That tickled!" Which must be the bravado speaking, considering the large dent in the tank's armor now.

The tank cannon angles up as it reloads, and *CHOOMS* loudly as Warpath fires a long arcing shot in Blurr's general direction. That's the nice thing about explosives, you don't need to hit -directly- because of the blast radius... And even if it misses Blurr it'll make a big pretty explosion right out of part of the asteroid.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr doesn't stop moving as the shockwave slams into Warpath, sending him to the virtual floor. He continues to speed across the landscape, even as the tank's main gun follows his progress. The shell explodes immediately behind him, not really causing any damage but throwing him off course enough to send him right into Sky Lynx's tail swipe.

Warpath may have taken a significant dent, but Blurr's light frame is sent flying into a cliff face. Yeouch. That one hurt. Even if this is just a simulator, the pain still feels pretty real. After all what use is combat practice if a big part of the real thing isn't there? "Ugh, that's it! Gloves off!" As soon as he recovers himself, he charges again, but this time at Sky Lynx, now that the dinobird is on the ground.

Imager has posed:
Imager scowls up at Sky Lynx as he takes notice of her. She hisses loudly, "Shift." Mage settles herself as best she can, trying to prepare for whatever was coming her way. Her eyeplate furrows in concentration as she shifts. The dinobird is just full of sass...at least he and Blurr are enjoying this, she was annoyed and frustrated to no end. This wasn't anywhere NEAR a fair fight, and everybody just drug her in here to have some newbie they can all laugh at.

Sky Lynx' tail whip comes around like the crack of a whip, and poor Imager takes the brunt of it. She gets knocked in the chest by it, and sent up and away with it, actually TWISTING three whole revolutions around before she slams into the asteroid, face down. "Ugh!" the big Femme groans, as she pushes herself back up onto her feet. "Okay...that sucked." She turns back around, space dust shedding off of her. "Okay....maybe I can get in TOO close..."

It was another stupid idea, but what else could she do? Imager covers the ground to Sky Lynx and in one boss motion, tries to drive both of her arms into one of his legs in a hammer punch.

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx is hit from two sides. Blurr and Imager. And Warpath just...ignores him? Well then! That's fine by him. He turns to face the speedster, though, Imager's blast leaving a rather paltry scorch-mark on his armor where it strikes. "Have at thee, then, Blurr! You taunt the beast, and the beast you shall have!" He swings a broad 'foot' to 'backhand' Blurr.

Or, well, swipe at that location. Or maybe he's swiping where he thinks Blurr will be?!?! Ooooooooooooh.

Warpath has posed:
Missed the speedy bot, but the explosion was definately pretty. But Warpath did already hit him, so that is a minor annoyance at best.... and it being another Autobot being good at dodging his shots means he's good at dodging Decepticons too, and that's definately a good thing.

Turret swivels around, wondering if he should shoot Sky Lynx in return for sideswiping him with the tail, but see's everyone else getting physical with the big lug. It would be in his capacity to just shoot another explosive shell and try to catch some of them in the blast... but that wouldn't be challenging.

The tank takes a bit longer to make a wider turn, but then Warpath is rumbling towards Sky Lynx at... well it's a pretty brisk clip for a tank but tanks are not very fast at all. At least the tank treads can handle the rocky surface well. None of that stops Warpath from pushing the throttle as far as it can go, and try to smash into one of Sky Lynx's legs.

Blurr has posed:
Despite the pain, Blurr manages to jump out of the way of Sky Lynx's claws, ducking behind some rocks that end up taking the hit instead. They crumble, pieces of debris tumbling to the ground. "Beast, huh? Interesting quip there, never really pegged you for a beastly type! Always thought you considered yourself above 'animalistic' stuff."

He notes Imager going hard for the legs, and decides to fire off his TechVolt at her, just to see who would take advantage of the opportunity if it hits. "Look sharp Imager!" he calls out.

Imager has posed:
Imager steps back from the giant creature. He either deigned to not notice her or she just didn't even get past its robohide. Imager was pretty big, and pretty strong, and she knew it. Warily, she gives ground to Sky Lynx, and at least now everyone was ganging up on him. AS PRIMUS INTENDED. "Okay...new tactic...or old tactic." She fumbles for her shotgun, "I reckon that I could give..." Blurr calls out her name, she looks over curiously, and then is shot.

The electric attack ripples over her form, sending her into convulsions, a most unexpected reaction. Lightning rolls over her highly-conductive frame, forcing her array into overload. Light spews out of her chest, eyes, and mouth as she tries to scream in agony before she just falls over.

Yep, that stunned her.

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx bahs. "Poor sport! Going after a potential ally like that. Come now, Blurr, I thought you were better at tactics than that." He whirls about and, in a rather remarkable show of control, unleashes a gout of flames at Warpath and Blurr alike, leaving Imager to...well, recover from the 'betrayal'.

Warpath has posed:
Warpath gets blasted with some flame. This, initially, doesn't do much harm as the tank just rolls through it.... Up until there's a dull *thoom* and a discharge of thick smoke and sparks from one side of the turret as the heat cooks off one of his ammo compartments. "YOW!" Wait, was that in pain, or because of... or... you know what, it doesn't matter, exclaimation is exclaimation.

However, Warpath also notices Imager hitting the ground. Being stuck in the middle of a battlefield like that is a bad place to be, any soldier knows that. He trucks towards the femme, and for a moment might look like he's going to take advantage of her situation. Until he rolls to a stop and transforms. Reachs down to grab the large femme with one hand and give her a good shake. "Com'n soldier! Back BLAM on your peds! Fight isn't THWOOM over yet!" While trying to slap her across the face a few times to stirr her out of the shock.

He's trying to help, really!... But how else do you expect the big loud tank commander to 'help'?

Blurr has posed:
"Pff, ally? There are no real allies, this is a free-for-all." Blurr corrects. "The -Decepticons- wouldn't have warned her, would they?"

Then Sky Lynx blows fire in their faces, charring armor that isn't too tough to begin with and potentially even melting some of it. The HUD isn't looking good. Still, can't say the speedster isn't still enjoying it, knowing the damage isn't actually real. "Tell ya what, whoever wins this one gets free drinks on whoever goes down first." Yeah he just assumes everyone has to go along.

Once again he starts running, aiming to flank his opponents before they have a chance to react.

Imager has posed:
Imager is just intaking and venting as much as she can, her optics flickering. Warpath does a bit to help aid her, the Maestro obviously dazed and crippled by the attack. She makes a few wordless noises as she rolls over to push herself up...and Blurr ELECTRIFIED her. He just hit on one of her two berserk buttons, and she'd be damned if...

Imager grimaces, as some errant arcs of electricity roll over her. She actually puts a hand on Warpath for support as her Helios Array bursts with light, a multicolored jumble of strobe light effects that washes over the entire room.

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx laughs at the punches thrown his way in the wake of his fire. But, then Blurr offers that wonderful little bet of drinks bought by the loser. "HA! You mean if you fall first, you'll be the one buying me drinks?" He turns to make some snide remark to Imager about the situation...

Only to be blasted in the optics by aa bright electrical discharge of light and...colors. Huh, he didn't even know some of these colors existed. "Well then..." He starts the internal diagnostics before simply swinging a wild haymaker. He might go down...eventually.

Maybe.

But he'll secure drinks at least!

Blurr has posed:
"Sure, sure!" Blurr laughs. Not that he can't afford it or anything. "Why not, might as well celebrate something, don't get a chance to do that enough these cycles." The truth is, at this rate he probably will end up being the one buying the drinks. Ah, well. Better to lose to teammates than to enemies. With Sky Lynx blinded by Imager's holograms, he takes the opportunity to find cover quickly and hope the others will knock each other out first...

Warpath has posed:
There's now foul black smoke belching out of Warpath's body in several spots as Sky Lynx's fire continues to burn through his chassis. But doesn't let that stop him from giving Imager some extra support as she tries to dazzle the big dinobird. "That's BLAM one way to *light* him up!" And still crack badly thought out jokes about it. Say what you will about him being loud and annoying, Warpath is there when a fellow Bot needs him.

Like when the blinded Lynx starts swinging wildly. "I think ya made him mad!", he grunts, as he more or less pushes Imager out of the way. Then gets thrown clear across the arena by the massive Autobot's swing. Crunch! There's bits of rock flying all over the place.

Followed by, of all things, Warpath -still- getting back up. Still spilling out all kinds of smoke and broken bits from it. "Almost, big fella, but not WHAM just yet!" Though he's got most of his ammo already burning off inside of him, so Warpath has to resort to digging out his emergency backup weapon, and uses the much less impressive sidearm to fire off several sonic bursts at both Lynx and Blurr. Out of the two he's got to hit one of them, right?

Imager has posed:
Imager beads in on Blurr, her eyes practically red with fury. Somewhere in her processor, she may've recognized what Warpath did for her, and she might've made a note to buy him a drink later, but right now, Mage had a score to settle. She bellows out with enough anger that perhaps even Sky Lynx might be impressed. "MUFFLER FIXER!" A crude, but overall powerful insult! She just starts running towards Blurr, firing several shots of her shotgun as she moves. Heck, if she had a second gun she'd go all Liefield and fire it as well. She got ELECTRIFIED, and hell was coming for payback!

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx is fairly certain, based on the registered impact, that he did not hit Blurr. That was far too heavy. "Oh, terribly sorry about that...Imager?" He guesses randomly but...eh, well, who knows. He's BLIND...so, yeah. He flips around at the next sound of...something smacking him and lets his audio sensors do the 'work' of finding his target as he simply chomps at something. Anything.

Actually, fighting blind is kind of fun.

Warpath has posed:
There's a pause... a couple of blinks... and then Warpath laughs so hard he keels over backwards. Being battered and burned as badly as he is probably didn't help, but it's mainly the laughing that topples him over. "I'm not sure if I should BLAM be flattered, or she should BLAM be insulted!" Apparently Sky Lynx hitting him and thinking it was her is hilarious to him.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr is actually running seriously low on fuel, but he manages to scoot out of the way when Imager comes running like an unstoppable juggernaut. He takes out a sidearm as well, and aims a few potshots in her direction. It probably won't stop her but maybe give her something to think about. "Vector Sigma, didn't know you hated getting electrocuted that much. Well that's one thing I learned from this session--how to make Imager furious."

However, he doesn't get a chance to even fire them off, as Sky Lynx's massive jaws clamp down onto him. Aaaand, that's it. The simulator sounds off with a loud klaxon as there's a flash of red light.

    PLAYER 1 ELIMINATED.

Blurr is then removed from the arena, and he retreats to a observation chamber. "Welp, guess the drinks are on me then!" he laughs. "-However-, we still have yet to find out who gets the treat." The speedster settles in to find out who wins. He'd put shanix on Sky Lynx.

Imager has posed:
It was rare to see Imager in a fury, even rarer for her to be provoked so easily. One moment she's all pistoned-off, firing away at Blurr, as her pride was hurt more than her frame...and then Sky Lynx came in from the side, his sword-like teeth going snicker snack. All the fire just sort of melts off of her within those few seconds. He didn't know. She just sort of slumps there for a moment, then looks reluctantly back to the dragon, and mutters to herself as she takes a half-hearted shot at the ole Beastie with the shotgun again. "...no idea if I'm even hurtin him...."

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx is...not one to show signs of hurt. In spite of the fact his usually polished armor is showing signs of wear and tear from the blasts, zaps, and shots he's attracted. No one said the big brute was good at dodging things...

Still, there's laughter, and his attention turns towards that noise as he, once more, lashes out blindly. Though, this time it's with-wait...

What is he even thinking of? There's a loud 'CLACK' and suddenly...where there was once one there is now two, and both of them are...

Nope. Still not seeing as clearly as they ought to. Clear enough, though. Through one set of eyes, at least, and they settle on the two combatants left. "Right then...so, which first, hmm?"

Imager has posed:
Imager scowls...well...again. "Great." She mutters as Sky Lynx splits up. She draws over towards Warpath as she tries to keep both Sky Lynx halves in her sights, "Uh...Bango Kabloomie." (Warpath), "think we might need to go back to back to get through this." She shifts her gaze from the dragon to the shuttle, cracking off two more shots at the dragon half. "Man this sucks..." She laments lightly, and then suddenly manages a half-laugh, "But its better than going through drill again."

Warpath has posed:
Warpath finally pulls himself off the ground as he stops laughing quite so hard. Though instead just sort of stares a moment as Imager is now fighting a bird while a big cat thing prowls around? Thumps the side of his head with one palm. "Maybe I'm worse off than WHAM I thought..." After a bit of a wobble he manages to pull himself back onto his feet. Hmm. He might still be able to.. "Better make this one KABLAM count!" He manages to get one last round out, though by the sickly belch of smoke that follows it, that's not going to do his ailing systems any favors either

Blurr has posed:
"Uh-oh, looks like Sky Lynx is getting double-teamed!" Blurr calls out from the observation booth. "Wonder if he can take it."

Sky Lynx has posed:
Sky Lynx sizes up the competition, as it were. The downside of the form he's in, armor is not as thick as in other forms, and there's a few lucky hits to the hydraulics that he relies on for mobility. He looks at the damage before turning his focus back on the fight.

Both units surge forward, going after the two, the cat's claws flashing as he swipes at Imager while the bird swoops in to slam down on Warpath.

Warpath has posed:
By this point it's hard to tell what smoke is from damage from attacks, and what's smoking from Warpath's own systems backfiring from said damage. Even as the flying half of Sky Lynx swoops in to slam him to the ground with its talons. Big cloud of smoke, dust and debris billowing up from the impact.

Out of which flies several more shots from Warpath's subsonic sidearm. "Almost but not SHAZAM quite, ya big robobuzzard!" Geez, how much of a beating can this mech take?.. Granted, he does transform into a tank...

Imager has posed:
Imager cocks the shell ejector on her shotgun, her eyes searching between the Dino and the Bird. Already having given up the idea of being able to dodge Sky Lynx, Imager does what she can to suffer the hit well. Claws rake and rebound off of her pauldron, it was a light hit, a rake. She could suffer that one again, the Maestro figured. Her weapon reloaded (Who even knew it had shells?), she draws another bead on the Dino...the cat...THE GROUND PART. Primus almight, she lamented, what the heck WAS this thing? "What he said!" She chimes in, adding, "uhm...kaboom?" Again her shotgun roars...

Sky Lynx has posed:
A few more sparks fly as those shots tear into something. Well, they're certainly making far more headway now than when he was 'whole'. Joys of exposed pneumatics. Slower, and a bit more sluggish, but certainly not out, he pulls back the ground-half of his form while the bird-half strafes the two with fire once more.

Warpath has posed:
FWOOSH goes the fire. Does fire normally explode? Not on it's own. When it's toasting somebot carrying around plenty of munitions in his body? Then yes, there's plenty of pyrotechnics as Warpath does finally collapse and -not- get back up like the dozen of times before. ".. yowie.."

Imager has posed:
Gunfire rattles over Imager's form, a nasty few shells manage to penetrate her armor under the shoulder. She hisses, reflexively reaching for the wound, not that it'd do her any good. Energon starts to seep out of her frame, simulated Energon at least. The Maestro was starting to get bloodied, but this fight wasn't over. With another mutter, she says, "Mech, Ironhide'd be cackling if he saw us now, he'd be all..." She looks over to Warpath, his ammo cooking off. Her optics grow large...

...

She looks towards the Dinobird.

"Uh oh."

Quickly she returns to the task at hand, filling Sky Lynx with plasma fire, because she's next!

Sky Lynx has posed:
The Dinobird finishes the strafe as plasma perforates his wing, causing him to falter and actually wind up on the ground. Though, the feline half is quick to step in defensively over his...well, other self. It's...yeah. Two in one. Or...one in two. Hard to say.

Still, when it's two on one, one can't expect it to wind up a fair fight...but there's a pause and moment of consideration before the flying bird-half simply steps to one side, leaving the cat as the only one in the fight. Lynx charges in, claws flashing briefly as he takes a healthy swipe at the lone foe.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr watches the fight with mild amusement. Warpath goes down. "Hey Imager, this isn't going as badly for you as you thought, huh?" he comments, given she's still up!

The klaxon sounds again, and there's another red flash.

    PLAYER 4 ELIMINATED.

Warpath is also removed from the playing field.

Imager has posed:
Claws flash, again raking at Imager. She stumbles a bit, going to one knee as that ammo inside her keeps burning into her. "Urgk...." She mutters, then pulls herself back up. That Cat-half was just as deadly as the shuttle half. She was getting low on ammo...but that half looked a lot less stable by itself. All claws and spindly legs, less mass. Maybe if...oh slag it. Imager just rears back and throws a hefty punch at the separated half of Sky Lynx. "Just. Hold. Still!" She bellows as she drives the fist home and up.

Sky Lynx has posed:
There's the loud crunch of something critical giving way under that hearty punch. Whatever it was probably has some importance, and the Lynx retaliates in kind as teeth flash and that blue-gold brute of a thing lunges at Imager, throwing himself bodily into the fray with...eh, well, yes. It's abandon. Reckless abandon. But...can anyone blame him?

Probably.

Imager has posed:
This suddenly got a lot darker than she wanted. Now she was fighting a beastie who wasn't all good cheer and quips. Sky Lynx was quietly showing a more feral, savage nature...and it did not look appealing to her. This fight was stupid and she wanted to be done with it. Slowly she started to back away from Lynx, stepping up against a craterous rim when he lunges forwards, ripping the gun from her hand as fangs flashed. She collided with him, her hands reaching for the head, and as Lynx drew back, Imager went with him.

"Oh...no nono!" She calls out as she flips over atop the cat form, holding onto him, more likely to be thrown aside than riding him. With little recourse, she just starts to pull and heave the dualform, and take it to the ground!

Sky Lynx has posed:
There's another loud pop and a hiss of steam as hydraulic fluid rushes out of a ruptured strut, and the cat-form falters under the unexpected rider. But, just as one might see climbing atop the beast to pin it as a sign of sure success, well...

There's that loud skree from above. Whether it's reflexive or instinctive, one part seems to move in to defend the fallen other. It's just...one of those things. Again, two parts of the same whole.

Claws and beak bear down on Imager as the Bird makes an effort to pull her right off the Lynx's back.

Imager has posed:
Imager grunts, as she rides the Lynx down. Finally, she had a name for that half! Her fist slams into it again, "Tell. Me...that if...this half...drops...the other..one does..too!" She drops another fist at the beastie, even as the Bird grasps ahold of her, trying to shake her loose. "Come...On!" The entire event had turned from a shooting gallery to a brutal brawl. Imager's back is torn up badly, energon gashes leaking as she just tries to put down Sky Lynx. Trying to find *her* place...

Sky Lynx has posed:
As the bird flies off, leaving that little hit in its wake, the Lynx gets pounded on again. Though, still not out for the count in spite of the sounds of protesting gears and servos inside from the beating he's receiving.

Could he form back up again? Most likely... though there's something in the way that he'd rather not outright crush by such a merger. So... Imager has at least one thing going for her there.

But that also brings about another thing. The cat pauses a moment, bracing, and then just gives a final heave to throw himself back and pin Imager between himself and the rocky surface. It's rough, it's crude, and...well, most likely indeed that last surge left.

Imager has posed:
Imager crumples as Lynx pretty much rolls over atop her. She lets out an astounding "ooofh!" as she lets go, imprinted into the asteroid dust. Her hand twitches, and slowly...she pulls herself back up to her knees, her hand fumbles for the shotgun near her. The thing is half scrapped but it's probably going to fire....hopefully. With a look of grit, one of her optics flickers out, she hesitates a moment to aim...and then fires.

Sky Lynx has posed:
That blast hits hard, and there's a soft 'chnk' as it punctures something it probably shouldn't have. The Lynx sits there for a bit, then just takes a seat as the second half swoops in to rejoin and...once more, there's a proper Sky Lynx there. "Good show. We know when we've had enough." He simply nods and stands, walking to the simulator's console to power it down and log the win in Imager's name. "Though, to be fair...it would have gone a lot better had the three of you actually gone after me first and not one another."

Imager has posed:
Imager just slumps over as Sky Lynx steps away. After a moment, the hologram dissipates and her systems return to normal. She jerks as she sits up quickly, alarmed. "Holy shift..." Imager murmurs, her optics wide. "Uhm..." She draws up to her feet, hale and hearty, and...rather freaked out by what happened. "Yeah uh......thanks?" She scratches the back of her neck. Now she had a LOT to think about.
