Date of Scene: 07 October 2018
Location: Iacon - Central
Synopsis: Hyperdrive's bullies find out that Lieutenant is in liege with the almighty Prowl...mwahahaha
Cast of Characters: Prowl, Hyperdrive, Lieutenant

Hyperdrive has posed:
The recent battles have brought an influx of new people to Iacon and to the academy in general. And while in some cases that is a wonderful thing. Other times it seems that even the best of intentions are rife with thsoe who would make the most of things for their own benefit. Now Hyperdrive is no stranger to things going less than stellar. But for the most part, his recent experiences have been fine. Most people left him alone. And the bullies he DID have, he got the drop on and they had been leaving him alone. But of course there's a couple of new mechs that have joined the cause. And his old adversaries have decided to hang with them. So at first the smaller mech didn't expect to have someone grab him as he went from the academy to visit his friend in the barracks. He looks up and...well it's no one he knows. "Uhhh Sir....I think ya grabbed the wrong guy? Or...do you need directions cause I can certainly point ya in some various directions ta go if that's the problem cause well ya grabbed me and I'm supposed ta be meeting my friend and yer kinda holding me from doin that and ummmm can ya please let me go?"
"Told ypu the runt runs his mouth off!"
"THIS is the problem guy around here? I could launch him into a wall and watch him shatter? You have to be kidding me"
Hyperdrive narrows his optics as they continue to badmouth him and hold him dangling. "I'd really ya rather let me go before one of the authorities or teachers gets yas in trouble!"

Lieutenant has posed:
Lieutenant is still sore from yesterday. Today he's just walking around, trying to adapt to his new abilities to the overwhelming senses of those around him. It's almost indescribable to how strange it feels. He can sense the weights of those around him, and the cluster of others around almost fogs his own vision. Every one walking, running, holding small mech's hostage, driving--

Wait, that feels off. Lieutenant heads over to the barracks to get a visual look with his own eyes. "Care to explain the situation?" he asks the trio, spreading out his wings slightly to block the doorway.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive wriggles in the grip of the bigger robot. Who is at least smaller than Lieutenant. Hyperdrive looks up at the mech and starts hoping that the guy that was training with him yesterday isn't like his current 'friends' who are dangling him like toy. Hyperdrive does manage to get his legs moving and attempts a swingkick that ALMOST reaches the bigger guy but a good shake makes Hyperdrive yelp and breaks the momentum of his attack. "OW! SlaggittathePIT!"
     "Watch your language minibot"
The rival of the minibot looks up at Lieutenant and he stares a moment before regaining his composure. "Nothing to do with you. This guy has been causing problems and we're taking care of it. This is academy business." And he turns back to Hyperdrive and the bigger bully, dismissing Lieutenant.

Lieutenant has posed:
"File a complaint and let the authorities handle the situation for you." Lieutenant replies nonchalantly, still standing there assessing the situation himself. He shouldn't get into things he has no business being in. However, something about this scenario tells him he shouldn't leave it be. "I ask that you release him and contact authorities, before you make it worse for yourselves."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive swings around, clearly getting annoyed at the fact he's being mishandled. He wriggles again ineffectually while also palming a...well...he's got something in his hand. Two somethings in his hand. Swinging his legs wildly this time around he LAUNCHES one at the one bully and another at the other. And siddenly there's a bright flash. As well as loud bang. Now of course this might have been figured to be a normal flashbang but there is...well....nearly a shower of glitter. except it suddenly magnetizes to the mechs. Hyperdrive himself had been dropped with the flash and a forcefield had shielded the smaller guy from the glitter storm.
"MY OPTICS!!" "WHAT?" "SLAGGING LITTLE GLITCH!"
Hyperdrive himself quickly crawls and then runs, holding his one arm and quickly finding someplace to hide. Now though anyone who was looking is probably seeing some spots. It isn't anywhere near as bad as the two idiots who instigated this mess. They're fumbling around and after a moment start to see that not only is their prey gone. But now they are the sparkly owners of new fashion accessories. Hyperdrive stays 'hidden' but the other two are swearing up and storm and decide they need to get out of here before they need to explain things to the authorities. The smaller mech is using a nearby building's architecture to hide his small form. That and the nearby Trash receptical.

Lieutenant has posed:
Seems like Hyperdrive didn't need his help after all. Even though he gets blinded by the sparkle show, he still has his senses to fall back on to 'see' Hyper escape. Although, once he's out the building, he's gone from the flier's 'sight.' The other two, however, are still there. With Lieutenant blocking the door, they're not going to have an easy time getting out.

In fact, they're not leaving.

"Watch /your/ language." Lieutenant parrots back to the duo, as he grabs the smaller one to slap handcuffs on him. If he can grab the larger one as well, the same fate will befall him too.

Hyperdrive has posed:
The handcuffed bully acks as the tables are suddenly turned. The other mech looks for a way around this guy. He's bigger, stronger and faster than the other guy. "Look I didn't know that this guy was protected and all. I was just asked to help that guy. Not my fault I was told wrong." Of course he's not acting like anything but a guilty party as he tries to dash around Lieutenant. And he might have succeeded if some of the Academy enforcers hasn't shown up and blocked his escape route.
We're sorry but you are coming with us for questioning on the disturbance today."
"NO! It wasn't my fault! It was the other guys!"
"That Hyperdrive caused all of the trouble! I swear!"
One of the Enforcers turns to Lieutenant, "Are you a witness to what happened? And did you see where the others involved went?"
Speaking of Hyperdrive, he's not come out of hiding. And doesn't plan to if he can help it. One of the officers looks to the other, "Sounds like there might be some more problems with some of the settlers. We need to get these two back at least and help with that." "Rather deal with Civil unrest than babysit some sparklings in Prowl's office."
The one looks at Lieutenant again, "Apparently we're needed elsewhere. Here is my comlink id, please message me if you come up with information involving the incident. Or if you see Hyperdrive it seems. And someone will be sent. Thank you for your time.

Lieutenant has posed:
"You can explain that to an official then." Lieutenant gives a dry response as he steps aside to let the authorities take the escaping mech. He'll let them straighten everything out to figure out the story between the trio. He's just there to keep everyone from fighting each other. They do enough of that with the Decepticons.

Once given the commlink, Lieutenant salutes, before heading out. He could use his senses to locate Hyperdrive. After all, he is curious to know why that duo wanted him. Then again, it IS Hyperdrive. With a sigh, he scours the buildings until he comes across the familiar form. "You could do better than that." He comments, looking over at the trash receptacle.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive winces as he realizes that he's been spotted. He looks up and is relieved to see it's NOT one of the enforcers. "If I hid too well then my friends might not find me. And I really was gonna head over and bug my friend Swivel until those idiots showed up. Did the enforcers leave?" He winces a touch as he rubs the arm that was being used to hold him. "I'm so close ta graduatin...if I get in trouble they might set me back a year or somethin. And I need ta graduate." He gives Lieutenant a slight smile, "They did look rather nice as sparkly as they were didn't they?"

Lieutenant has posed:
Time to start hiding better. Lieutenant isn't easily amused or sympathetic. Hyperdrive may ramble on but by the end of his prattling, all questions are ignored. "What did you do to make them come after you?" he asks, "I have the enforcers on comm, so if you would rather speak to them than me about the situation, I can arrange that. Unlike me, they can keep you from your graduation date. All I can do is listen."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive frowns at Lieutenants shift into police mode. "I didn't have ta do anythin. They picked me out for their fun when I first joined the bots. But I showed them size means nothin in the grand theme of things. They bully me cause I won't accept the place they picked fer me beneath them. And it isn't fair that I'll get in trouble fer defendin myself from them."

Lieutenant has posed:
True to his word, all he can do is listen. Lieutenant looks over Hyperdrive for another moment. "Whether you tell the authorities or not is up to you." he states before walking past. He won't tell, he's not going to ruin Hyper's graduation date. Besides, they could use someone handy like that in the field.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive winces again and makes a face at his harm, "That one guy had quite the grip....I'm...I'm sorry fer growlin at ya. It's hard ta tell who will listen ta someone like me or who will back THOSE guys up cause they're more useful and didn't come from neutral backgrounds. It doesn't help that half the bots think I'm jinxed." He looks at Lieutenant again, trying to get a better judge as to what drives this guy. "I'm Hyperdrive if ya didn't catch the name earlier. I dont' think I caught yer name durin the trainin session. Lt...soemthing?"

Lieutenant has posed:
"It is only half." Lieutenant points out. A fifty-fifty chance is worth taking sometimes. Although he doesn't believe anyone would be jinxed, cursed, or blessed. He doesn't believe in that sort of nonsense. He nods in response to Hyper's introduction, "Lieutenant. Just Lieutenant." And nothing else.

Please don't remember how he ate the floor.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive's optics blink...as he tries and process that. "Oh...that name is different. And I really don't go outta my way ta get in trouble. But it always seems good at finding me. I just need ta avoid Prowl until my graduation and then things should be better. At least I hope they will. Especially if I graduate before that guy I'll outrank him. And I'll still be a full bot.

Lieutenant has posed:
Lieutenant's gaze narrows at Hyperdrive. "Why would you avoid Prowl?" Everyone has their obvious reasons. No one likes the mech for some of the choices he makes, but still. He has a need to know. For reasons.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive frowns and thinks for a moment, "It's how he comes off.....He's in control of everything. He picks yer missions, he's the one who can send you to one that you won't survive. Everyone says that he does stuff behind the scenes in order ta control the outcomes and make things work in his favor. I...I can't get a read on him and even though I've not seen all that I've heard about, I respect my friends enough ta believe that ya gotta be careful around Prowl."

Lieutenant has posed:
Lieutenant takes internal notes on that against Hyperdrive. He can't say anything against it to defend Prowl. Besides, he is part of Prowl's "Diplomatics Corps" which is basically doing stuff behind the scenes. In whatever way Prowl commands. "Mhmm... Prowl is a complicated one, but we must respect him." Because he deserves it for all he's done for the Autobots.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive says, "I'm not dumb enough ta disrespect him....especially to his face. That's where Hot Rod fails. He doesn't know when ta hold himself back. I've been learnin alot from Swivel. Me and her work great together. I'm hoping that I'll be able ta go on missions with her once I graduate. But we'll have ta see where the dice rolls and all when it comes ta that time.""

Lieutenant has posed:
Lieutenant nods once. He can't say anymore, as there really isn't much more to say to the prattling minibot. This has been far more than enough socializing for him at the moment anyway. With all that, he turns a heel to leave. "Farewell then, Hyperdrive." He'd add 'stay out of trouble,' but he has a feeling that won't happen.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive grins and nods to the bigger mech, "Have a good day!" Now is the time for him to go find somewhere else to hide for a bit. It's probably not the best time to go bother swivel if the enforcers are at least looking for him to question him about the two glitterized suspects they have in custody. Maybe he should go see what Hound is up to and tag along on one of his scouting trips. Anything to just not be around when Prowl shows up. He glances around debating where to go.

Prowl has posed:
As Lieutenant is turning to leave, who should happen by but the one the two of them had just been talking about moments earlier. Prowl has just finished a reviewing exam results for some of the more advanced cadets at the Academy, but when he spots Lieutenant he looks up from a datapad he was poring over.

"Lieutenant." he greets with a nod, though his expression is serious. "I'm ...concerned with the trouble you had at the training session yesterday. I understand that your enhanced senses are useful, especially for recon jobs, but we can't have it hindering you when push comes to shove. We all need to maintain the ability to defend ourselves, even alone if necessary."

Lieutenant has posed:
"Eep!" His senses picked up on Prowl, but Lieutenant himself didn't register the mech until he spoke. Wings spread out in a startled and sudden attempt to make himself bigger. As if his size does not give that impression already. Quickly, he re-adjusts himself back to his stoic form.

"Of course, Sir," Lieutenant replies dutifully, "I shall be practicing more in combat so this does not become much of a hindrance on missions. It will not be a roadblock, I assure you."

Prowl has posed:
"If your senses are so good at detecting movement, how is it that you didn't anticipate my approach?" Prowl arches an optic ridge at Lieutenant's very startled reaction. He looks back to the datapad he had in hand. "Right, I'm assigning you to more acclimation training." Acclimation as in getting punched, shot at, knocked over and every possible other type of trauma until he can get accustomed to managing the sensory overload. "That is all."

Then his optics move over toward Hyperdrive. "And you had better stay out of trouble, cadet. That is, if you want to actually graduate." Then he starts heading back toward his office at the Decagon.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive acks! SEE! The monster moves without being heard and shall destroy us while we recharge. He tries ducking behind Lieutenant. Maybe he can sneak away before Prowl realizes....oh crap he's been seen. "errr Yes sir!" Good thing he doesn't know about the sparkle incident yet.

Lieutenant has posed:
Lieutenant managed to keep a poker face, but his audio fins lower sheepishly. He should have registered, but he's still has to get used to the feeling and pay more attention. Prowl doesn't get an answer aside from, "Yes, sir."

He is not looking forward to it, but he wants to make Prowl proud. If it means getting shot and punched repeatedly, he'll do it.

Prowl has posed:
"Good." Prowl says as he's walking away. But even after he has gone out of audial range, Lieutenant receives a message from him on his personal hailing frequency. << Come see me in my office, same time tomorrow. I have a special assignment for you. >> Nothing more is said, but he should get the idea that this isn't something he is supposed to go telling just anyone about...

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive scampers off before Prowl decides to take more notice of him. Or if the enforcers come around. This is probably not the best time to be wandering about especially if they still want to question him. He does give lieutenant a quick wave.

Lieutenant has posed:
"<< Understood, sir. >>" Lieutenant comms back. He doesn't need to turn to see Hyperdrive scamper away, but he does flick a wing in return at him. It's time for him to head back to the training area to practice more. Maybe find someone more than willing to help. In amusement to himself, he wonders if he should enlist the help of a Decepticon. How ridiculous that would be.
