Alone in the Dark
Date of Scene: 27 October 2018
Location: Uraya
Synopsis: The power goes out in a hospital in Uraya. Optimus Prime orders the Autobots to investigate, with explosive results.
Cast of Characters: Blurr, Hyperdrive, 114, Groove

Phon (114) has posed:
It was a quiet night, which would be beneficial to those that Optimus Prime has sent out on patrol. Suspecting that the next berserk drone outbreak would be in a populated, or at least residential, area next, the Prime has dispatched a number of patrols to the various city-states either under Autobot protection or, at least, neutral. Every time it has happened, it's been roughly about this time, but so far, no reports have come in. Perhaps it was over? But to what end? The quiet is as comforting as it disconcerting, and it will be to either the relief or horror of some that, suddenly, things are happening.

<<Autobots,>> comes the voice of Optimus Prime over the radio, <<I have received reports that a hospital in the medical district of Uraya has gone dark. I need the closest unit patrol to check it out. It may be related to our drone problem, and it may not, so exercise caution. Prime out.>>

The hospital in question is one of a number. It's not the biggest, or even the most advanced, but there is something quite unnerving about it. That's probably because the lights are out, as if the power direct feeding the building has been cut, and various hospital workers are staggering out either wounded or fleeing for their lives. From what? No one is saying, but the incoherent screaming might be a clue.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr just happened to be out in the field near Uraya when Prime's message went out. He had been on some other Intel Division business, but this took priority. After all it was the Prime, and vulnerable bots could be in danger. So he makes all haste toward the medical facility in question and immediately starts attempting to get inside and assess the situation if possible.

Needless to say, he took one look at the panicked patients and workers and decided against attempting to talk to any of them, instead deciding to start searching for any evidence of rogue drone behavior or some way to get the power back on.

Groove has posed:
Groove was lucky - or unlucky? - enough to have been assigned to Uraya. He doesn't mind patrolling that much, all things considered, especially if patrolling includes long, uninterrupted drives here and there.

A hospital possibly under attack, though? Much less enjoyable. Groove gives Blurr a smile and nod (the smile is a little forced, like he's trying to cover up his concern) and watches the workers fleeing past him. In particular, he's trying to figure out what kind of wounds they have, and what might've caused them.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive is in between being a scout or a courier. He's got skills in both areas and so today he was hanging with Blurr. Because he's one of the few who can almost keep up with the speedster. Of course when the call goes out he's forced to chase after Blurr who is no longer holding back slightly for Hyperdrive. Now normally he would probably try talking to calm people down since he's nice that way. But he's too busy trying to cool his vents a bit and glaring at Blurr. He follows the autobot in charge. "So....what's the plan...."

Phon (114) has posed:
The wounded that fled by have various obvious wounds - punctures, cuts and the occasional missing limb. It's consistent with different sorts of repair tools being used for something other than repairing.

One final medic staggers out of the darkness toward the door as Blurr and his group enter the hospital. He looks as panicked as the others, but he's at least coherent enough to give them some vital information.

"A-Autobots! Autobots, right?!" He points behind him, "Our drones went berserk. Attacked us in the middle of repairs, killed some of the patients being recharged... They cut the power before we could call for help, and--" His eyes widen, then flicker, and he falls over, several large syringes sticking out of his back. In the distance, there is the gleam of a drone down the hallway.

"Everything is fine," it says in monotone, backing up slowly into the darkness and disappering, "No need for help. No need for Autobots."

The crumpled medic would beg to differ.

For the observant, the sound of sparking wires can be heard further down the now probably dangerous hallway, indicating that there's probably severed connections further in.

Blurr has posed:
"Oh, everything is fine, isn't it? I think -that- bot would beg to differn." Blurr snarks back at the drone, pointing at the crumpled medic on the floor. Yeah, okay it's just a drone, but surely, -someone- is behind this, someone is watching. Doesn't take a scientist to figure out that these can't just be random.

He ignores Hyperdrive's question AND Groove's greeting, instead just dashing off down the corridor in the direction the aberrant drone just disappeared. He whips around a corner and out of sight of the others.

Groove has posed:
Groove listens with rapt attention and a slight frown. Drones going berserk, again, killing patients in recharge...

He isn't allowed any time to ponder or worry, though. As the medic begins to topple, Groove lurches forward, trying to stop or at least slow his fall - too late. He winces at the thud and crouches by the fallen mech, checking for any signs of life. "I'll be here," he calls to Hyperdrive and Blurr. "Don't go too far!"

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive gahs as Blurr just up and LEAVES him. He looks at Groove apologetically. "COM me if ya need me....I'll gonna stop him from running inta another spider web or somethin..." He turns, tenses his frame and goes into a run to try and catch up with Blurr.

Phon (114) has posed:
Curiously, the medic isn't actually dead, just hit with enough of a stunning agent to knock him out cold. Perhaps Groove will be able to do for something for the unfortunate chap?

Blurr, on the other hand, decides his chicken's ready and so he's going to go do this. Right now. Off he goes! Really, he needn't have bothered. This is Blurr. That is a drone. Before the speedster can even get all the way down the hallway, the drone is seen again, the optical line on a small screen serving as its 'eyes' visible in the dark. Its head tilts curiously.

"All is fine. Autobots not needed," it repeats, "But Autobots have come. Autobots..."

A chorus to the right in one of the rooms says, "..should not.." as a group of medical drones - some armed with drills, others with laser scalpels. "..have come," drones another group to the right in monotone. This time, they have large industrial saws, probably for cutting into very heavily armored Cybertronians and their body parts.

They all stare at Blurr. The lead drone tilts its head back into place. Did it just sigh? No, it couldn't have.

"Too late now," it says, and they all lunge at once.

Blurr has posed:
"Oh you didn't need our help?" Blurr taunts further. "Well let me fix that real quick." As they lunge, he transforms, avoiding the ones that go for the head with those scary tools of theirs. What, it's the quickest way to duck without throwing himself off of his feet.

Of course a hospital hallway isn't exactly the best place to switch to race track mode.

Regardless, the speedster zooms off, putting distance between himself and the drones. Hopefully this causes them to smash into each other because where Blurr once was a nanoklik ago is now merely air. Plus, he veers around once he reaches an intersecting hallway and starts shooting at them. Even better!

Groove has posed:
Groove is no expert in the medical field, but he's not about to let that stop him! He goes for the syringes first, pulling them out of the poor medic's back and subspacing them - just in case.

He then begins trying to carry/drag the medic a little further from the hospital, away from the rampaging drones. Hopefully none of said drones try to stop him...

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive is trying to be helpful but he's completely dusted. So he at least can hear the battle before he gets to where he thinks it is.

Phon (114) has posed:
Fortunately for Hyperdrive, Blurr seems to have this entire thing well in hand. His superior agility, compared to the not-at-all superior combat skills of the drones, wins the day. Sure, they're accurate, given that they're medical equipment, but they're meant to operate on still patients, not Sonic the Hedgehog's happy meal toy.

So needless to say, most of them collide with one another. Saw blades sever limbs. Drills go through heads. It's a real mess. Of course, it's dark, so it's hard to tell that it's a mess, but believe me. It's a mess. The narrator never lies. Oh, and then Blurr basically shoots the rest of them to pieces. That battle is basically over, leaving only eerie silence after the metal bangs and clangs of the drones being massacred subsides.

In the distance, there is still sparking. And light movement.

Outside now, the drones aren't bothering Groove, so he is able to get the poor medic out of harm's way. Some of his wounded, either physically or emotionally, colleagues come running over to help out. If Groove allows them, they offer to take over.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr watches with satisfaction as the drones just wreck each other. Smirking, he stands back up again and attempts to establish contact with the others. << Well that's one pack down at least. Groove, Hyperdrive, what's your status? Got optics on any others? >> He asks, as he himself starts to scan again, and picks up on the movement. << I'm onto something, going to investigate. >>

Groove has posed:
Groove gratefully allows the medic's colleagues to take charge. "He was stuck full of these," he says, holding out the syringes he'd recovered. "Knocked him right out. I don't know if that's normal, or if the drones tampered with them. Mind if I take a couple back? I know a few someones who might be interested in having a look."

He answers Blurr promptly, <<"I got the downed medic out of there, he's safe. Grabbed a handful of syringes the drone used, too. I'm thinking we wrangle a scientist to study it for tampering, unless either of you have better ideas for it?">>

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive hears that Blurr completeled his mission. So HYperdrive makes a point be thorough checking the place. At least he can pretend to be useful. He stops a few times to check bodies for signs of life but he's sure the medics would have gotten the kicking ones out. <<Aimlessly wanderin the hallways...Do you need any help? There's a couple DOAs that I doublechecked.>>

Phon (114) has posed:
One of the medics takes one of the syringes and inspects it. "Curious," he mutters, running a scan and his optics widen, "Great scott, that's way too high of a dosage! Thank you, sir. Our colleague will owe you his life when this is over, but don't worry, we'll take care of him. He's just... going to be out for awhile." None of them ask for the other syringes, occupied as they are now with getting the downed medic out of here.

Meanwhile, in creepy dark hospital town, Blurr will see no other drones if he makes his way forward. The sounds have stopped as well, other than the sparking of the wires, which are now plainly in view. There's two sets of power lines running along the ceiling. One set has been cut, the long cable hanging uselessly in the hallway, sparks shooting out periodically. There does not appear to be any immediate danger, as any scans will reveal only the sparking wire.

Upstairs, however, there is the occasional clang, but nothing from the current floor.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr makes his way toward the sparking wires, the light from the electricity obvious in the darkness. << Hey I think I found the source of the power outage problem. Think either of you could figure out how to get hte lights back on? Probably just need a smell arc welder or something. I'm gonna check the top floor, heard some noises up there. >> And he promptly heads for the stairs.

Groove has posed:
"I'm just glad he's okay," Groove says with a smile. "If you'll all excuse me, I need to make sure my buddies aren't getting themselves ripped to shreds in there."

He heads into the hospital, trying to move quietly and half-expecting to get tackled by drones at any moment. <<"Alright, he's in good hands now. Where are you two?">>

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive glances around. <<Ummmm I'm thinking I can keep going this direction I might be able ta find a fuse box and all. Maybe I should go do that? I'm assumin that I should go down the levels.>>

Phon (114) has posed:
The medics salute Groove as he heads off, no doubt to be heroic! What a guy! Speaking of, he will find himself utterly alone, and still in the dark. Hopefully someone will get the lights on soon. Or not.

Hyperdrive will not find any resistance either, but there is a very convenient set of stairs down a little further down the hallway. If he really, really, REALLY wants to go down there, he has his chance!

Blurr, of course, goes for the stairs up, because he just loves loud noises like Scooby loves Scooby Snacks. He will hear more clanging, but no one is visible yet. Oh, wait, that clanging has a source, doesn't it? And here it comes! A heavy cart full of tools and assorts parts comes tumbling down the stairs as Blurr heads up. Needless to say, the clanging has reached a crescendo.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive stares into the darkness. He shivers a little, his plating rattling as it resettles. But they need the electrical back on. So someone needs to check the fusebox. He focuses on keeping his footsteps silent as he continues downwards. He's still debating between scout and courier. Courier tends to be safer, but his small size and mindset works so well for being a pain in the aft type scout. Oh well. He's got time to choose right?

Groove has posed:
Groove ventures further into the dark hallways. <<"Hello? Are you two alright?">> He's getting a bit nervous now, as he listens hard for anything that could be Blurr or Hyperdrive. Technically the sound of footsteps could also mean drones, but he's trying to not entertain that thought.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr rushes up the stairs (well he doesn't think he's rushing but anyone else sane would) but finds a cart full of tools falling down toward him. But thanks to his lightning-fast reflexes, only a few wrenches that fall off manage to scrape a shoulder a little as he twists around and squeezes past between the cart and the wall, avoiding most of the impact.

"That all you got whoever's up there?" he shouts up the stairs as he continues toward the upper floor, not fazed in the slightest or slowing down at all. "A rogue cart? Too easy!"

Phon (114) has posed:
Groove might begin to get the feeling that he's been watched, but nothing seems to be there. There are, however, a number of rooms off of the hallway, but no one is going in or out of those. Were those optics peering out from the darkness of open doors? Maybe just a trick of what little light there is without power. Either way, he is unimpended. So far.

Hyperdrive, likewise, isn't running into any resistance, but the same feeling of being watched might wash over him. If he makes it down the stairs without turning back, he will find an even darker corridor. It's the maintenance level and there's machines and equipment everywhere. None of it seems to be trying to murder him, though.

Blurr does not get another cart for his trouble, but he does see a drone. It's by itself and a rather simplistic model at that, probably meant for clerical work too mundane for a more sophisticated machine. It has a single optic and it stares at Blurr, but does not appear to be attacking.

"You do not understand," it says, but that's it. It goes back to staring.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr reaches the upper floor and finds this singular drone just standing there, staring at him with that one optic which reminds him of a certain SOMEONE. "Yeah, you know you're right." he replies to that statement, though his weapons rotate inside of his arms as he prepares to hit it with his TechVolt so that he can take it back to the Decagon for study. "I -don't- understand. So whoever you are that's doing this, why don't you go ahead and -englighten- me as to the point of all this?"

Groove has posed:
"Uh, guys? Hello...?" Groove tries shouting this time. If they're not getting comms, maybe they'll be able to hear him.

He twitches slightly upon seeing the glimpse of optics peering at him. Now he's really creeped out. He draws his gun from subspace and continues down the hallway, peeking into each room as he goes along.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive brightens his optics and his other lights trying to illuminate without making things too difficult to see. Sharp shadows won't help him at this point. His forcefield generator hums as he preps to use it at a moment's notice. <<Hope everyone else is doin okay. I'm still lookin fer the fuse box>>

Phon (114) has posed:
The drone stares more at Blurr. STARE STARE STARE. Then it turns.

"Follow me," it says, "If you wish to know." It rolls down the hallway and hangs a left, into a room. If Blurr follows, he is going to run into a very interesting sight: This is where nearly all of the drones left functioning in the hospital have gathered. They all turn, completely in unison, if Blurr enters. No words, just staring.

On the first floor, Groove is still being observed. Something falls, a loud bang ringing out, and there is the sounds of scurrying as something unseen moves away from the noise. Turborat, maybe?

Hyperdrive's additional light helps him out for a short distance, and he also gets the sound of scurrying as something unseen moves away from the light. Fortunately for him, the box that he's seeking is on a wall not too far down the corridor. A myriad of thick, covered cables run out from it, trekking all over the hospital. While the box itself isn't damaged, it is open and someone has haphazardly turned all the switches off.

Blurr has posed:
<< I told you, someone cut the power conduits on the second floor, hallway ceiling just past the double doors leading into operating room 7. >> Blurr says impatiently. << Just weld them back together, it should work. >>

Interestingly enough, the drone seems to oblige him. Well it's probably a trap. But Blurr can handle traps. At least he's very much convinced he can, no matter what kind of trap it is. He follows the drone, and finds all those other drones once again staring at him. He appears relaxed, though he is definitely ready to dash if the need arises. "So what I don't have all solar cycle you gonna tell me or what?"

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive hears the sound of skittering and he freezes a moment. Optics searching the darkness. He spies the box and moves closer to it. He searches above and below the box and slowly reaches forward with a hand. His forcefield lightly comes on and he tries to feel for any current that might be running through the box if there was a short or miswiring. <<Found the box. Everthing looks turned off but...well I'm making sure its not electrified....>> He pauses to listen to Blurr's explanation. <<I'm glad yer an electrician...but I'm down in the BASEMENT and the power box has been switched off down here. So even if you DID solder the wires back together they wouldn't work without me turnin these on. Groove, if yer able to solder wires and are close to the cut conduits, I can wait a breem to turn the power on so you can work safely"

Groove has posed:
Groove promptly freaks out at the bang, letting out a startled yell and leaping back, gun raised and ready to fire.

He holds that position for a few minutes, expecting something to pop out of the darkness and grab him, and when he finds himself un-grabbed and un-stabbed, he relaxes slightly and chimes in on the comms, <<"Why don't we meet up on the second floor? Wandering around alone is creeping me out. Now if I can find my way up there...">>           Steeling himself, Groove continues his journey through the dark hospital, searching for a way up to the second floor.

Phon (114) has posed:
On all of the floors, the drones stare.

Then they speak. At the same time.

"Are all Autobots this foolish?"

Groove hears it from multiple rooms around him in the darkness. Hyperdrive hears it behind him, just out of reach of his lights. Blurr hears it from every drone in front of him. And behind him, as more appear in the hallway. And above him, for if he looks up, he will see a number clinging to the ceiling. The drone that led Blurr here gazes at him and tilts it head again, almost curiously, and clearly no longer speaking with its own intelligence, though the voice is clearly that of the drone:

"You scurry about, putting out fire after fire, heedless of what is actually happening around you. No matter. It is a pity your mind is not as swift as your legs."

That's when all of the drones around Blurr suddenly move, rushing at him from different angles, but they're not attacking him. No.

They all self-destruct.

The ones downstairs, in the rooms around Groove and in the darkness behind Hyperdrive, also self-destruct, though they do not rush at the Autobots. They merely detonate in place.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive isn't trying to see about fixing the lights and all but then...well all hell breaks loose. He tries to finish raising his forcefield and protect himself from the explosion. There isn't much he can do otherwise. In fact calling over the radio might not work but he at least tries. <<SLAGGIT RUN!>>

Blurr has posed:
"Frag it!" Blurr curses as the drones rush at him and self-destruct. He should've stunned that one before it could blow itself up. There goes some valuable intel. But at least they are much slower than him and their 'rushing' is like dragging to him. In fact, it's as if they are all moving in slow motion. He jumps and somersaults over the one closest to him, turning several times in the air on his way toward a window. Looking up toward it, he brings his arms up and opens fire, shattering it before he goes flying through to escape the blast.

Once outside, he lands on an upper floor docking area once and then slides the rest of the way down on some external piping. << Hyperdrive, Groove, get out of there! The drones self-destructed, not sure but it might bring down the entire building! >>

Groove has posed:
"Why don't you come on out? Let's talk about it, if -"

That's about as far as Groove gets before the drones detonate. He hits the ground, huddled into a ball with arms over his head, and waits for the explosions to end.

Phon (114) has posed:
Blurr is spared, because of his sweet, sweet speed. Unfortunately, the hospital itself isn't so lucky. Fortunately for the Autobots, the staff and patients were either dead already or escaped outside, so there's really no one to save but themselves. Blurr is outside. He could walk away from this now, if he so desired, but will he? Or will he Be The Hero?

Groove is left to his own devices now in the hallway. The drones are gone, having exploded, leaving fiery debris and smoke in their wake. Around him, the walls creak, as the structure is tested by so many explosions going off at once.

Downstairs with Hyperdrive, the creaking is far more omnious, and bits of ceiling panel and pipes wrench loose and fall around him. Bits of debris bounce harmlessly off the forcefield, but there is the distinct impression that a countdown timer has started. Will Hyperdrive escape from Zebes in time?

Blurr has posed:
Blurr is urgently comming his teammates, trying to figure out if they can escape the facility. But he can tell it's not going to stay up! << Slag, the whole thing's coming down! Groove, if you can't get out of there, can you at least get to Hyperdrive? Hyperdrive, how much punishment can your shield take? >>

He -could- go running back in there for them, but there's not much point to it. Blurr isn't exactly a transport and wouldn't be able to carry them out.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive's ceiling partially comes down and there's a yell of fear. He skitters backwards, staring at the ceiling above him and trying to figure if more is coming down or if he can make it to the stairwell. <<nononono...not again not the roof part of it's fallen and it's dark is it all fallin cause I'm still in the basement and I don't know if there's a safe spot to be or can I get out you can hear this right tell me you can hear this cause I don't want to be stuck here all alone and don't come down here cause I'm in the basement and I got my forcefield up but I don't know if it's gonna work and I'll try ta find another way out or somewhere with support or somethin but don't come down here cause no one needs ta be killed cause of this and please someone say they heard this....>> Hyperdrive's optics brighten with fear as he covers his head even with his forcefield being up.

Groove has posed:
Groove slowly gets to his feet once things have settled down... in a relative sense, of course. <<"Hey, Hyperdrive? I hear you. Sit tight, I'm gonna see if I can find you. I'm in a hallway lined with rooms. Are the stairs anywhere near it?>>

Instead of trying to find the exit, he starts poking around, looking for stairs - or even a hole in the floor - that he can use to reach the basement.

Phon (114) has posed:
CREEEEEEEEEEEAK.

The building rocks again, and there is a rather unpleasant rumble as fragile framework and structural support starts to give way. More debris falls in the basement. Get grooving, Groove. This building can't take much more of this.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive is trying to not panic. <<No groove get out before you get crushed I...oh slag this sucks. J-just talk ta me as ya get yerself out please. I'm tryin ta follow before it comes down. I got a forcefield....I...I'll be fine.>> Okay the idea of Groove getting hurt is making him try and think past the panic. He aims for the steps, hoping that he can squeeze past the bit of ceiling that's already come down and get up that way. Otherwise he'll have to find a second exit.

Groove has posed:
Groove is ...also trying to not panic! <<"I'm not gonna leave you alone in a collapsing building. That's just not right. We'll have better odds if we're together, anyway."

On a hunch, he tries shouting - maybe Hyperdrive is within earshot. "Hello? Hyperdrive? Can you hear me?"

Phon (114) has posed:
There is more creaking, but maybe, just maybe, things are starting to stabilize and become safer? Maybe the building won't fall in after all, and Hyperdrive and Groove can work their way out calmly and safely.

Another shutter sends a pipe crashing down from the ceiling back where Hyperdrive used to be. It hits one of the generators near the fuse box, and while it doesn't explode immediately, it is starting to spark omniously.

Welp. Just kidding on that keep calm and walk out thing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTmHQWsNAMM

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive sees the sparking generator and he himself skitters faster toward the stairs. Hopefully they're the right stairs, "I'm comin up! Get outta here!!" He yells it and coms it so good luck telling which you are hearing. Either way he's focusing on getting out so that Groove doesn't get hurt cause of him.

Groove has posed:
Groove has no idea which he heard - but it's still good to know that Hyperdrive is alive. <<"If you're sure,">> he comms back, and proceeds to search for a way out of the building. Alas, if only he had a map.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive is wanting out and quickly. He stumbles and tries to get up the steps and hopefully following Groove and Blurr. <<I said ta keep talkin ta me at least cause otherwise It feels like I'm alone and I really don't want to be alone when this comes down and just make sure you say that you got out and all cause I don't want ta leave ya and is Blurr okay and where are we meeting and groove did you get out yet?"

Groove has posed:
Groove catches a draft of fresh, smoke-free air from a corridor and hurries down it. Fresh air probably means outside. <<"Sorry, I'll keep talking. Where are you? Still in the basement, or are you on your way out? I think I've found an exit. Blurr... he's probably okay. He could probably outrun the falling debris if the building did collapse.">> He chuckles lightly, despite their situation.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive is hoping he's not going to die. THankfully Groove's predicament unsnapped him from his panic. But it's time to get out. He's really glad that the building didn't come down. He sees the exit point and now does his best impression of Blurr, pulling his field down and just flat out running for the exit. We're going to live! <<Here I come!>>

Groove has posed:
Groove follows the fresh air to freedom and outside-ness. At this point, he's just glad to be out of the disaster zone. <<"Good, you're alive. Are you in one piece?">>

Phon (114) has posed:
And just in time, too, because just as Groove and Hyperdrive reach the outside, the generator blows. The walls give out, the structure buckles, and the admittedly aging hospital comes tumbling down.

Is there a doctor in the house?

Blurr has posed:
Blurr is visibly relieved when his teammates make it out just in time. Though he also seems somewhat irritated that they didn't do things -his- way. "You two could've gotten killed! Why didn't you just find each other and get into Hyperdrive's shield? Then you would've been protected either way."

Groove has posed:
"Change of plans," Groove answers casually. "We all made it out, no need to get our circuits in knots. Anyway, how are we going to explain that?"

He gestures to the collapsed hospital.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive frowns at Blurr, "My forcefield doesn't have a never ending supply of power. If he can get out without me, then get out. Better one person trapped than two. Or even one dead instead of two." He's shaking badly as he looks back at the building. He ends up sitting down as his shaking continues.

Blurr has posed:
"Of course not I wasn't insinuating that, but it wouldn't have had to hold out -forever-." Blurr grumbles.

He shrugs at Groove's question when the Protectobot gestures toward the fallen building. "That's for Hyperdrive to figure out because he'll be making the report. Isn't that right Hyperdrive? Good, thanks Hyperdrive." he says, before even waiting for the mech to reply. "Just say we saw a bunch of rogue drones again and they called Autobots fools and self-destructed. Which obviously means Decepticons are behind it."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive says, "Ummm actually sir...I never saw the drones. So...wouldn't I be lying in saying that in a report. I heard noises. I heard talking and then there was an explosion. I could describe some of the dead bodies I saw but I'm not thinkin that would be relavent ta the report. I guess I could pretend I saw the drones and pick out pretty colors ta describe them as."

Groove has posed:
Groove almost looks like he wants to make a suggestion - but he just sighs and smiles. "All I found out is that the drones got hold of a stunning agent and upped the dose to silly levels. Wonder how they did it. I have a few samples."

Blurr has posed:
"I -know- that, but you're not just reporting for yourself, you're reporting for the team. That's why we're debriefing right now." Blurr replies impatiently. "You -did- graduate from the academy, right?" he asks with an exasperated sigh. "Whatever, just RTB and get on that report ASAP." Then he zooms off.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive grins. "Okay....gues I can report fer the team if this was a team since we did all sorta do somethin different...and I guess I can ask fer some extra trainin in command since ya obviously wanna defer ta me and write the report fer ya so I'll do my best like the other times I've written the reports though of course I'll have ta just say I have no clue what actually went on and all since I wasn't there and extrapolatin data when someone is supposed ta be reportin the facts is probably not exactly what they want but I'll just say that Blurr asked me to unless ya wanna make it an order and then I'll just tell then what I saw and tell them to then ask blurr what he saw since he's not writin the report and I am and all of course I could just see if Swivel wants ta write the report since she writes them so much better than I do but of course she wasn't there but that's not much different then havin me write the report except that when she writes it there's gonna be less need of correctin the report of course if Groove wants to send me what he saw then I can make it looks like more of a team deal though I'll still only be able ta say fer sure what I saw and also say that I believe blurr heard....whatever it is that you wanted me to say and hopefully Prowl and them will understand that there's only so much that can be done with a report like this but if that's what you want I'll write it."

Groove has posed:
Groove looks just a little bit confused by the exchange of words. "Sure, I can help you with that report, but I didn't see as much. The only information I have is the stunning agent. Still, it's something."

He tilts his head in the direction Blurr had zoomed off. "He seems like he needs a break. Too tense."
