Water Cooler Gossip
Date of Scene: 30 October 2018
Location: Barracks
Synopsis: Various Autobots converge at an energon dispenser. Conversation happens.
Cast of Characters: Blurr, Hound, Swivel, Hot Rod, Hyperdrive, Siegebreaker, Starlock

Swivel has posed:
Keeping busy is what Swivels do best. But even she needs her down time. She'd considering taking the long trip out to Nyon, but she'd barely have time to relax there before she'd have to return. So instead Swivel is just loitering near the fuel dispenser, sipping away at a small cube in the common area. Right now she is content to stand back and watch people come or go.

Hound has posed:
Hound likes to patrol, that's one of the things HE does best. Patrol enemy territory OR his own, both will always have something to explore. Today he's exploring the Barracks during a break in his work, casually strolling along and gaining a sense of troop morale and the like. Spotting Swivel near the fuel dispenser, Hound walks up to get a cube for himself. "Hello, Swivel," he says, smiling at her.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Uneven footsteps approach the rec room - not the unsteady gait of someone limping, but the uncertain plodding of someone who's not entirely sure if he's poking around in forbidden territory.

A rather beat-up Bot pokes his head in, peeking around in search of ...something. He looks a little worse for wear, but his movements are brisk and decisive. His gaze is flickering rapidly between two points of interest - the fuel dispenser, and the bots near it.

Swivel has posed:
Before: Swivel was slouched against the wall, occasionally humming quietly. There was a casualness and occasional fidgeting from the femme, her optics kept dim. She's looking around and sipping her drink.

Then Hound shows up.

After: Swivel is standing perfectly straight away from the wall. She is holding her drink in both hands out in front of her. Her body language is suddenly rigid and demeanor attentive as her optics brighten. "Sir!" Swivel says, shuffles her drink to one hand in order to salute.

During this bit of attentiveness the sound of an uneven gait snares Swivel's attention. She peers around Hound, spying Siegebreaker wandering in. Her optics flicker in mild interest at first, but then she fumbles with her drink when it registers that the mech looks worse for wear. She's also not familiar with the mech. "Oh! 'Ello there... are you okay? Do you need assistance?"

Hound has posed:
Hound kind of chuckles at Swivel's sudden change in demeanor. "At ease," he says kindly, filling his cube and taking a sip. "I'm just on break. I like to take a look around sometimes." As Seigebreaker enters- kind of, he nods to the mech as well. "Come on in," he offers.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker twitches visibly at being addressed directly. Looks like it's too late to run and hide. He shuffles further into view, offering Hound and Swivel an awkward smile. For some reason, he's carrying a weapon through the halls - the polearm is clutched tight in his hands, like it's the only thing anchoring him to reality and he'll float away if he lets go of it.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock would wonder her way into the not long after, spotting Siegebreaker, like a target she'd locked onto.. But then she spotted the other two bots, and her movements became more stiff and rigid, speaking in a softer tone as well, being a new recruit, and fresh out of medical school bot.

"Erm.. Hello..."

She'd say in almost a mumble, waving her hand weakly, and smiling a bit nervously, hoping she'd not startled Siege with coming up behind him.

Swivel has posed:
At ease? Well. That is the command of a superior officer. And almost immediately Swivel's stance shifts to just that: at ease. Although Swivel IS working on not being so meek, Hound has never given her any reason to disrespect him. So she's not eager to experiment with being a belligerent hoodlum like Hot Rod to someone who is actually a decent Cybertronian. So Swivel gives Hound a shy smile.

But that is just a brief exchange. Swivel is soon looking back at the rather, erm, sharp mech who had stumbled in. Seeing how he holds his glaive causes her to tilt her head curiously. He doesn't respond to her and she just takes a step further away from the wall. "'Ey..." Swivel says softly, trying to prompt a response from Siegebreaker.

It is then yet another comes into the common room and Swivel jerks her head up, looking over at Starlock. "'Ello." Swivel says giving just a small tilt of her head.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive is headed for Swivel's room. At least that's what the plan is. He's got to cut across the common area first. Espcially since he tried banging on Blurr's door first without success. The mech looks rather disgruntled and isn't really paying attention to actual people as he mutters about "stupid blurr..."

Hound has posed:
Hound tilts his head slightly as he takes in Siegebreaker's weapon and current, rather dented shape. "Back from a fight, soldier?," he asks. Starlock gets a small nod, too. "Come on in," he says to her too, his own demeanor relaxed and friendly. He seems happy to see Swivel actually smile back at him, then glances over as Hyperdrive enters. "Looks like we've got a party in the making here..." He'll wave to the mech if he should happen to look up.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker trembles in place. If he could meld with the wall and become part of it, he would. He takes one step into the rec room, then another, looking like he might spontaneously combust if another person looks at him.

... And then Starlock pops up right behind him. He doesn't combust, but he startles and scurries into the room. On the bright side, he's no longer blocking the doorway!

"H-hi," he manages, greeting the floor rather than the Autobots. "I - uh... hi. I always look like this."

Starlock has posed:
She'd note the other bot coming in, and Siege's skittering over, and let out a silent sigh, walking in, and nodding to her taller superiors, seemingly unsure how to act towards them.. She'd not actually met these bots, so it was actually hard for her to tell if they where her superiors, better safe then sorry, least in her head.

"Err It's okay Siege.. " She'd mumble softly, before looking back to the others, giving a nod. "Hello, Recruit and Med-bot, Starlock." She'd state in a cheerful tone, putting her hands together in front of her, nervously.

Swivel has posed:
Swivel tilts her head the other way. Wanting to meld into walls or run away? That is something that the femme knows about a bit too well. But how to reassure someone who feels the same way? SHe's a bit unsure as to that. Swivel's brow knits together and she frowns softly towards Siegebreaker. She was just about to say something when Starlock manages to startle him. Swivel holds her hands out, palms facing towards Siegebreaker. See? She's not scary. She's also short. Short like the femme which ended up startling him. But that's neither here nor there.

"Always look loik that, eh? I remember when bein' a plate o' grime and dented plates was my look." Swivel says with a small smile. See? No shame in it. "But if you do need repairs you ought ta get them seen to," she adds. Swivel then looks over at Starlock. "Speakin' of medical..." She seems about to say something more when... once again her attention is diverted. Well. This other femme seems to know the battered mech, so that's good, right?

Swivel follows Hound's gaze to Hyperdrive. Hyperdrive's mutterings do not go unnoticed by Swivel. Swivel's optics narrow at the fellow minibot. She then holds up a finger to her current company, mouthing 'one moment', scrunching up her face and shoulders in a vague apologetic gesture, and then she trots over to Hyperdrive to catch him before he goes ALL the way to her room only to not find her there. "Oy. 'Yperdroive."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive would probably not have noticed anyone but Swivel's voice catches through his mood and he immediately looks up. "SWIVEL!" Oh...and everyone else. He glances about. "Did I miss somethin?"

Hound has posed:
"Oh," Hound replies to Siegebreaker, that tone of politeness when you're not quite sure what to say to something but you don't want to be rude. "Well, uh, alright." A slight awkward stretch, then Hound reaches for another cube and holds it towards Siege. "Want some energon?" He offers Starlock a smile. "Medic, eh? Always good to have. Starlock, hmmm? You new here?" He looks over at Hyperdrive, "Nope, you're just in time, it seems."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker nods - or rather, he jerks his head up and down in a vaguely affirmative manner. The offer of energon nudges him a little further out of his terrified shell, and he begins shuffling closer to Hound. "I think I'm okay. She -" he pries one hand away from the glaive he's clutching and makes little pointing gestures at Starlock, "- fixed me. Some."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock would nod to the other bots, and give another nod to Hound, she did seem interested in getting a cube of that, before glancing over to Siege, then back to hound.

"Ah yes, please, if it's okay...and uh." She'd glance up at him then down. "Yes, very new, had my second combat training session not long ago with I think a flier named Lash?" She'd add, as if that would help explain something.

She then looked up at Siege once more. "I'd fix more if you'd let me, but only when your ready." She'd give a soft nod. "..Uh, this is Siegebreaker, I erm, found him out in some ruins."

Swivel has posed:
Swivel stops and stares at Hyperdrive, somewhat bemused, when he nearly shouts her name. At least he didn't come out of nowhere with a flying body check this time. "No... not missin' anything." She glances back over to Hound, Starlock, and Siegebreaker. "Not that I'm aware of, anyway." Swivel then looks back at Hyperdrive. "Though I get the feelin' that I missed something."

Swivel was only passively listening to the chatter going on, but a mention of ruins causes Swivel to looks over abruptly at Siegebreaker, and look him over even more closely than before. "Ruins? Which ruins?"

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive sighs, "Swivel...Blurr is makin me write his report and I don't even have all the answers. Do I just write what I can?" He looks vaguely frustrated.

Hound has posed:
Hound looks a bit concerned about Siegebreaker, but he nods, turning to Starlock. The green mech's optic ridges lift up a bit as she explains finding Siegebreaker. "Out in some ruins?" He looks back to Siege. Well, that does maybe explain some things. Hound makes sure to smile even wider, handing the cube to Siege should he want it and offering Starlock a cube as well. "You certainly never know what you're going to find out there." He stops and considers. "Certainly, there's little more satisfying than finding another *person* out in the wilds and being able to help them."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker plucks the offered cube from Hound's hand and scuttles back, retreating to a corner. He takes tiny, nervous sips as he goes along. Somehow, he manages not to spill any.

"I didn't think she was real," he admits once his cube is half-empty. "I was wrong. She was real. Is real."

Starlock has posed:
"Uhhhh...I didn't actually know the name of the place, it was some old battle field I was snooping around when I found him shambling about." She'd scratch at her cheek in thought. "I actually wasn't supposed to be out there, but I got curious when I heard noises." She'd give a weak, nervous grin. It wasn't the best to admit to defying orders, but she was glad she did.

She'd gently take the cube, looking up to Siege with a smile. "Heh.. Yeah.. Glad I am too, and I did, else, who knows what may of happen too you out there."

Swivel has posed:
"Oh." Well. Guess she won't know where Siegebreaker was found. Swivel glances at Siegebreaker. Realizing that a prolonged stare might make him more uneasy than he already is, she diverts her gaze to, well, maybe the floor. And then the energon dispenser. And then Starlock. And then back to Siegebreaker. "Um... 'ave you... been thoroughly checked out by, and I don't mean to sound rude 'ere, but the more senior medical staff?" Again, Swivel is feeling this mech's struggles hitting a little close to home.

Alas, those concerns are interrupted once again by Hyperdrive. Swivel arches an optic ridge when her little friend lays out his problem. She then puts her hands on her hips. "Makin' you? And why ain't Blurr writin' 'is own report?" Swivel then shakes her head. "Nevermoind. Wroit yer report and then IN yer report, add a loin loik 'Ref pending report by Blurr for further details' and put the onus back on 'im whoil also doin' yer part." Yes. See how he likes THAT! Ahem. "The important thing is that no one is left waitin' fer a report, any report." Swivel then pauses. "And... uh... remember wot I taught you about run-on sentences in yer reports."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive nods. "Okay..I'll try that. It's stupid cause I was busy being nearly killed in a collapse of the hospital and he's the one who actually saw everything. I don't want to lie or anything."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker's hand twitches convulsively around the energon cube. "I'm - I'm okay. Really..." He trails off, fixing Hyperdrive with an overly intent stare. It's an obvious attempt to get everyone's attention away from him and onto Hyperdrive. There's no way the battered mech can be THAT interested in reports.

Hound has posed:
"Yeah, she looks pretty real to me," Hound grins, glancing from Siegebreaker to Starlock. His grin fades just a bit as Starlock admits defying orders, but... if a mech's life was saved, he's not going to complain about it now. Instead, he nods. "Yes. It's important to keep an optic out for each other out there." He then looks to Swivel, "I imagine they have, right?" He looks to Starlock again.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock didn't seem to take offense to that, if anything she'd look to sympathize with Swivel's question, her brows knitting together.

"I've been trying to get him looked at." She'd say quietly to them, hoping Siege wouldn't hear. "He seems to have some sort of.. P.T.S.D and extreme fear of medical units, it took me hours of fighting him, to get him patched up to his current state."

she'd Perk up hearing about the hospital, and Siege's body language, and look to Hyperdrive. "Hospital collapse?"

Swivel has posed:
Calmly and firmly, Swivel says "There is a difference between lying and not knowing something. It'd only be a lie if you claimed it to be the absolute truth, and that you saw everything. Preface yer report that it is only a partial account of wot 'appened. And then, as I said, refer to Blurr to fill in the 'oles. I..." Then Hound speaks to her, and she suddenly remembers she is in a room with a bunch of people, including new recruits. She clears her vents and smiles. Now isn't the time to derried a lieutenant. "Roight. Just... just don't worry so much. Do yer best and let things fall where they will." Swivel gives Hyperdrive a small pat on the shoulder and then turns to face the rest of the people in the room, Hound moreso than the rest.

"Sir, I'm sure, but..." Swivel falls silent as Starlock begins to quietly speak about her struggle to get Siegebreaker patched up. Swivel then gives Siegebreaker a side glance. Is he going to be yet another mech who makes a medic's life difficult by avoiding care? There's already too many. But seeing that he really doesn't seem to want to be the center of attention, she looks back to Hound and Starlock with some detectable unease.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive grumbles softly and nods. "He just made it sound like I was ta write the entire report and told me to include stuff that I didn't see or hear personally. I...I guess I'll write what I know and leave portions that say talk ta Blurr...."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker waits until no one's looking at him, then quietly subspaces the empty energon cube. Never know when one might come in handy. He's gone mostly quiet and still, except for the occasional fidget. Nervousness practically radiates from him, but he's yet to flee, which is probably a good sign.

Hound has posed:
Now Hound finds himself frowning some. "Siegebreaker, is this true? You won't see a medic?"

Starlock has posed:
"He also doesn't remember -anything- regarding what happen to him prior, or how long he was in those ruins, how he got there, where he came from.." She'd add on in a whisper, looking to Siege sadly, before approaching and sitting near him.

"So, who's Blurr?" she'd as with a friendly tone, her body language relaxed, and none-threatening... Frag, Hound asked, she'd try to keep herself unassuming, and none-guilty looking.

Swivel has posed:
"Uh... 'ave you troid askin' Blurr /for/ the details yer missing?" Swivel asks, canting her head to the side.

Swivel glances back over to Starlock and Siegebreaker. And then does a double-take when Starlock asks who Blurr is. For a moment she just stares, and then she can't help but laugh. "Goodness, it's refreshin' to see someone 'o doesn't know Blurr. At least you get the rare chance to judge 'im by 'is actions and not 'is reputation." Good and bad.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker flinches hard enough to make some of his armor plates clank together. Hound becomes the next target of that overly intense stare as Siege tries to size him up and figure him out. He scuffs a foot against the floor, leaning against his glaive like it's an ordinary walking stick and not a long, sharp, pointy implement of pain.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive makes a face. "Blurr's an overly fast windbag who told me to say they said somethin...which I'm already not sure what he told me to say and it was the drones but I'm not even sure if they were the same type of drones. Ya know....Blurr is just so frustratin. He knows I don't write the best reports. He just wanted ta zip outta there."

Hound has posed:
Hound keeps his opinions, whatever they may be, of Blurr to himself, instead focusing on Siegebreaker. "I asked you a question, soldier." His tone is firm but not unkind.

Starlock has posed:
"Sooo his ego isn't the only thing "blurred" in his head, Gotcha."

She'd comment dryly, raising a brow at Swivel's statement, nodding simply, before glancing back up at Siege, looking over his legs, trying to determine just to why he was using his weapon as a crutch.

"Drones?..." She'd look back over, confused, what on cybertron where they talking about?

She then look to Hound, then to Siege, watching the blue bot to see what would happen.

Swivel has posed:
Swivel lightly baps Hyperdrive on the arm. "'Ey! Don't slander a superior officer in front of new..." And there she goes agains. Rules rules rules. Swivel catches herself and vents hard. She then smiles. "...in front of new recruits. Even if it's deserved." Ha! See? Rebel Swivel. Okay, not really. She's eyeing Hound anxiously to see if he'll call her or Hyperdrive down on such behaviour. Ack! He's using his firm tone on Siegebreaker! Her and Hyperdrive might be next! Swivel begins looking for a quick exit. Maybe he didn't notice their remarks about Blurr. Oh and Swivel is also feeling wretched guilty for saying something mean about a friend. Even if that friend is an aft. She's now too fretful to even respond to Starlock's pun.

Hot Rod has posed:
"Blurr's the Autobot nerd," Hot Rod announces loudly, having just exited his own barracks and entered the common area, "bottom of the social rung, the awkward guy, the one everyone makes fun of because he's a lightweight," he says with a smirk.

The former Nyonian rebel peers around at the room, realizing a couple of the mechs are a new recruits. "New around here, huh," he remarks. Then he notices Hound, and chuckles. "Hey Hound," he says, "how'd you like the drink I fixed you last time..?" He nods in greeting at Swivel.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker snaps to attention so abruptly it makes his plating clank together again. The firm tone did the trick admirably well. "It's..." The sentence slowly comes together as he carefully selects words, "Loud and bright. Too many, too close."

He rubs at the back of his neck, looking almost sheepish. "She didn't hurt me. Do you want me to see a medic?"

Hound has posed:
Hound glances up as Hot Rod emerges into the room, his frown still right there on his face. "Hot Rod," he says a bit reproachfully, "You should know better than to spread gossip about people behind their backs..." The mech's blue optics then veer over to look at Swivel and Hyperdrive. AHEM. Now... back to Siegebreaker.

Hound leans against the wall, studying the mech. "Yes, I would. If you haven't been thoroughly checked out yet, you absolutely need to- not only for your safety but everyone around you as well. Do you think you can do that, or would you like some help? I promise, there's a lot of good medics here," He smiles at Starlock, "...friendly medics, people who only want to see you well."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock raised a brow at Hot Rod's comment, now who was this flashy aft piece of optic-strain? She'd quirk a brow, tilting her head slightly, but shake it off, looking back up at Siege, blinking, did he mean Her?.. Also the way he was speaking, it sounded like he'd been a civilian, like she'd been, only he still... She made a face, then glance over to Hound, giving a nod.

"Yes, But I'd like a second more experienced medic there, to oversee, and insure nothings missed."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive frowns as he's bapped. "But...but...." He sighs, "I guess yer right. But I'm still annooyed. I didn't know what actually went on and I don't want ta get in trouble fer not writing things down right.?

Swivel has posed:
Swivel's head jerks around when she hears Hot Rod, and she just stares as he casually not only insults Blurr, but tells straight out lies. And he does it with such nonchalance. Seeing his nod in greeting, Swivel reflexively nods back. There's that uneasy feeling in Swivel again that maybe... modeling her behaviour after such a rebel is not the best idea. Again, she looks over at Hound with some apprehension. There. THERE! That look was very pointed at her ant Hyperdrive and Swivel's gaze drops in contrition.

When Hyperdrive mentions the report she looks up and over at him again. "No buts - it wasn't roight to speak loik that." Swivel cuts him off, and then tilts her head towards the two new recruits and Hound, raising her optic ridges meaningfully. "At any rate, either take my advoice or don't. Standin' around 'ere isn't gonna solve anythin', and you'll feel much better once it's not 'anging over yer 'ead." Swivel then gives just the slightest little head tilt, adding softly, "Okay?"

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker resumes fidgeting, except this time, the fidgeting looks vaguely like he's forcing himself to remain standing at attention instead of making a mad dash for escape. "Okay - yes, sir. I'll -" He gives Starlock a fleeting, sidelong look. "I'll ... do something. Try to do something."

Hot Rod has posed:
Hot Rod gives Hound an exasperated look. "Seriously? It was a joke. Like, literally everyone in here knows that isn't true." He chuckles, amused.

"Don't worry, Healthpoint will do just fine," Hot Rod interjects without permission."You must be new around here," he says with a grin, "oh, and by the way, I'm Hot Rod, if you haven't already heard." He extends a hand towards Starlock.

"Hyperdrive, don't get your axles bent in a tangle. That kind of stuff /really/ doesn't matter." He laughs. "I mean, /look/. I never write reports, I rarely ever show for night shift, damn, I even punched Prowl in the face and I'm not in the brig - so, you can reach your own conclusions, but..."

Hound has posed:
Hound nods to Starlock. "Definitely. An experienced medic needs to make sure you're all good to go. If you're not healthy, you'll be at an extreme disadvantage in a fight." He glances back to Swivel and Hyperdrive, less stern now as they seem to acknowledge their error. Now back to Siegebreaker. "Good, I'm glad to hear it. Report back to me afterwards, let me know how it went, alright?"

Now back to Hot Rod. Hound shakes his head, not annoyed but still standing firm to his own morals. "Hot Rod, that is NOT a good example to give new recruits. That kind of behavior will not be overlooked for too long. We're Autobots here, we have to respect the chain of command- and more than that, we need to respect *each other*, no matter one's rank or occupation or alt."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock nodded at him, eyes closed, quietly hiding the fact that she was happy someone was backing her up in getting him looked at, and reassuring things would be fine. She didn't like playing games with others bot's health. She slowly open one optic, looking back at him, trying to ensure he knew things would be okay.

She then made a face of discomfort, when Hot Rod got close, her lip twitching up. She had to repeat in her head over and over to be /nice/ and not punch the sudden bubble invader, she'd extend her hand and bort tipped talon-ed fingers to shake his hand.. She noted Hound's scolding to the others and then to Hot Rod, honestly contemplating saying what was on her mind, but it probably wasn't a good idea...

"Starlock, pleasure." She'd state stiffly.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker nods. His body language is an odd clash of meekness and respectful, soldierly discipline. "Yes, sir. I will."

He slumps visibly in relief when Hound moves on to Hot Rod. The beat-up bot looks like he desperately wants to hide somewhere and disappear for a while. Unfortunately, there's not much he can hide behind or under, so he settles for backing into a corner and huddling there.

Swivel has posed:
Swivel looks back at Hot Rod, her face reflecting more and more mortification as he blatantly flaunts his past transgressions, and lack of punishment received, in front of new recruits. Once Swivel realizes her mouth is hanging open, she promptly closes it. "Starlock doesn't know it isn't true! You moight 'ave given her the wrong notions about Blurr! And that's not fair to either Blurr or Starlock."

Swivel looks at the new medic, osberving her stiff interaction with Hot Rod. "For the record, Blurr was a racer in the Ibex Athletic Association." Swivel says, to clear up some of Hot Rod's mischief. "Blurr is very fast, and can sometoims get impatient. But when the world seems to be crawlin' around you, it's understandable. And, yes, 'e can frustrate others." Swivel shoots Hyperdrive a glance. "But he's a lieutenant. And, yes, as 'Ound says, we all ought to respect each other, regardless of rank or alt."

Swivel smiles a little. "I'm sorry. Whoile we are introducing ourselves, I am Private Swivel." Swivel coughs lightly. Seeing Starlock's reaction to Hot Rod, she doesn't move in to shake hands and just nods her head to the medic instead.

Swivel notices Siegebreaker hudding in the corner. She then looks over at Hound. It's not her place to tell him he can leave... so she says nothing. She just gives what she hopes is a sympathetic glance over to Siegebreaker but otherwise lets him have his space.

Blurr has posed:
As if on cue, just as Swivel finishes 'introducing' Blurr, the doors to the rec room retract to reveal the former racer himself. Even if Starlock didn't know him by name, she has probably seen an image of him somewhere at some point. That is unless she's an MTO like Healthpoint. Certainly, if anyone is named Blurr, they are likely to look like -that-.

He walks over to the engex dispenser and starts to help himself, though his gaze falls upon Hyperdrive. "Hey I told you to make that hospital drone report, remember?" he reminds the mech. Though really, it hasn't been all that long. Swivel -did- say he was impatient.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive frowns, looking really frustrated as Blurr not only shows up but pipes up. "I was just talkin ta Swivel about it cause I'm not sure what the pit I'm supposed ta be writing. Normally I'd write a report and say what I saw and heard but yer askin me ta write stuff I didn't see or here and if I'm questioned about it and they realize that I didn't actually see say or do what was in the report then what am I supposed ta do cause then I'm just gonna get in even more trouble so I was askin Swivel whatg ta do cause she's helped me before and helped make sure that I was writin a good report other than the one report that I kept ramblin on and I think I heard somethin about that one and Swivel was nice enough ta write the next report that came up but I wasn't specifically asked ta write that report but you specifically asked me ta write this one and if I do it wrong then yer gonna be mad and the higher ups will be mad and Hot Rod is sayin just blow it off but at least I know that's not the right thing to do but overall I'm tryin ta do this right and now yer rushing me!"

Hot Rod has posed:
Hot Rod grins, noticing that Starlock seemed to mind his close proximity. He doesn't further annoy her, though. "Well, damn, you're as bad as Prowl," he says, "if you don't like what I'm doing, don't pretend. Just say, 'quit it, fragger!' And I'll stop, as long as you give me a good reason why I should."

Then he steps away chuckling. "Yeah, whatever," he says, waving a hand dismissively at both Hound and Swivel. "I say, if you're an Autobot, do what you know is right. Screw chain of command. Primus knows not all of them know how to do right by anyone."

"Does it really matter? I just said it was a joke, and even if I didn't, it's not like she isn't going to figure it out on her own anyway," he says, glancing over at Blurr as he parades into the room. "Blurr, you need a drink. No one's going to die because the report wasn't written before you ran your anxiety laps today."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker stares at the other bots a little while longer before edging towards the nearest window. It seems that he's reached his limit for being around strangers. But he's not doing any dramatic window-gazing, though. And he's not even headed for the exit. He just... climbs out the window in a bid for freedom.

Hound has posed:
Hound nods reassuringly to Starlock, then looks back to Siegebreaker. "Great, glad to hear it." He offers a wide smile to the mech and nods. "Look forward to seeing you out there in the field!" With that, he turns to get another refill when - ZIIIP- suddenly Blurr's there refilling instead. Hound stops, optics flickering once, then he simply waits for his turn, not really saying anything as Blurr, Hyperdrive, and the others seem rather... occupied.

Hot Rod, however, earns a definite *frown*. A FROWN. FROM HOUND. "Hot Rod, if everyone "screwed chgain of command" we'd have nothing but chaos here. Some law and order *is* needed, lest we just be a bunch of Decepticons under a different name." He inhales a deep vent of air, then stoops to fill his drink. He glances to the new recruits, hoping they're not getting bad ideas from Rod, and then just sort of stops and... watches Siegebreaker climb out the window. Um. Okay.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock says, ""Pleasure Miss Swivel, and Don't worry, I worked in a library, and studied to also be a researcher, so I know not to take everything that is told to me, seriously."

She'd smile and explain, a much warmer reaction to Swivel then Hot Rod, she smiled to her, then glanced to the door, so that was Blurr? She'd seen some posters, but never made the connection... Welp, guess better late then never, least now she could get an actual idea on who this guy was.

aaand then her optic twitched at Hot Rod, her lip twitching into a sneer, wow, first day meeting her and he already pushed her patients limits.

"Their called manners, something you seem to be lacking, and attempting to compensate for with-- Siege no!" Her words cut off as she noticed the other bot slipping for the window. Rushing over to try and and catch sight of him."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker managed to get outside without too much difficulty. Off he goes, slipping away for other parts of the city - probably to do what he'd wanted to do all this time, and hide.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr glares at Hot Rod, and nods as he actually earns a frown from Hound (and by the way he doesn't seem to even recognize that he cut in front of Hound). "Actually, even the -Decepticons- respect and obey Megatron. If everyone acted like you and did whatever they damn well pleased, we'd have already lost the war to them and he would've already gone back to ruling this planet with a zolanium steel fist." he replies to Hot Rod sharply. "Is -that- what you want, Hot Shot?"

He finishes filling up and moves away from the dispenser, at least giving Hound the chance to have his turn. A exasperated look is thrown Hyperdrive's way. "Why are you acting like this is some kind of incredibly diffficult thing? I already debriefed with you, all you have to say is that we saw some rogue drones at a hospital in Uraya, and that they self-destructed, and called Autobots fools so they're definitely being controlled by Decepticons. Or -a- Decepticon. Either way, it's the Decepticons. Okay? That's it. How hard can it be? Primus." he shakes his head.

Swivel has posed:
Swivel frowns at Hot Rod. Looks like he is getting all of the frowns today. "'Ot Rod... buddy... pal..." Swivel begins to say. "You, uh, there's a flaw in yer logic. You on one 'and say everyone should do wot they know is roight, then in the same loin say chain of command don't know 'ow to do roight by anyone. But, 'Ot Rod, I believe most of them are doing wot /they/ feel is roight." Most of the time. Some of them just have a skewed sense of right and wrong. "We don't need anarchy roight now. It's one thing to beleive a form of government is corrupt and needs reformation. It's another to topple any and all authority and leave a power vacuum for something worse to take root." Swivel says, finger lifted. She's been doing some reading. "Being persistent and resilient isn't license to be an aft." Wow. What an abrupt turn around. One day entreating Hot Rod to show her his ways, the next calling him down.

Swivel's gaze darts towards Siegebreaker when Starlock calls out to him - is he going out a window. Swivel just raises her optic ridges. Ooookay. A door would have been just fine...

Swivel looks back to Hot Rod. Then she looks at Blurr. She looks like, on a role of tearing people down, she's about to get high and mighty at him. But then she hesitates. Instead she calms herself and says nothing. This is for Hyperdrive and Blurr to sort out. Not her problem. Swivel walks over to the fuel dispenser, glances up at Hound, then gets herself a partial refill.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive looks even more worried, "But I can't say that con was controllin them, there's no proof that a con was controllin them. I don't even have a good description of them or if they were all the same.....how do you know that a neutral didn't control them or a really angry autobot who doesn't think like an autobot anymore or Anyone else it could be..And they didn't just self destruct they disconnected the power in teh basement and you said something about them doing somethin ta the electric on the second floor. And then they also killed people but then they oversedated others and we didn't get statements from the people who were in there and I didn't get ta see all that you did cause you ran ahead of everyone else and we all went ta different floors...I really don't want my first report ta be all screwed up."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock would groan out as she lost sight of the damaged bot, slumping against the wall in tired defeat.

"Slaggit, now i'm going to need to track him down AGAIN, before something or someone else does."

She'd groan, looking none to pleased at looking sight of him, clearly she'd been struggling to keep him in her sights this whole time... She'd then note Hyperdrive's description of events, raising a brow, her curiosity getting the better of her as she listened, standing up straight.

Hot Rod has posed:
"Whoa, okay, I wasn't even trying to be rude? All I was saying is if you want me to slag off, then just tell me to slag off and tell me why - and Primus forbid that we might actually resolve the issue. But sure, if you'd rather just treat me like I'm not an Autobot, then suit yourself." He shrugs, surprisingly not currently in the mood to get riled up.

Hot Rod scoffs at Blurr. "Sure they all do, just like /Starscream/ does. And will you just give Hyperdrive a rest? Whether that report gets written or not is literally a drop in a bucket compared to everything else that's going on." He groans audibly. "Okay, I said nothing about anarchy. /You/ threw that word in there, Swivel. I listen to Optimus. Mostly. Because that's right by me, and I have no problem with that. What I was trying to say is that if chain of command is trying to stop you from doing what's right, then screw them. Still do what's right, even if it lands you in the brig." Then he adds, "Plus, I never said that it's a license to be an aft, either. It isn't a license to do anything other than strive for what's best for everyone, and peace on Cybertron." He sighs and climbs onto the same windowsill Siegebreaker hopped onto just before he escaped. "You know what, I don't blame the guy at all for making his getaway. Not like anyone around here actually knows how to make anyone feel welcome." And he slips out after the other mech, probably to keep an optic on him and make sure the new Autobot doesn't further injure himself.

Hound has posed:
Hound glances down to Swivel and offers her a small smile as she looks up at him, lifting a cube in a sort of... toast, of sorts. Acknowledgement, maybe? Then he returns to watching Blurr, Hyperdrive, and Hot Rod argue. With a sigh, the Autobot Commander interjects, "Everyone, just calm down some, okay? I know tensions are high, but remember- we're supposed to be fighting the Cons, not each other." With that, he gives a nod to each person in the room and makes his way out, still holding his cube. Back to work!

Swivel has posed:
Swivel's optics flicker as Hot Rod rises to her challenge and calls her right back down, clarifying himself. Swivel frowns, feeling a little bad about calling him an aft a bit too readily. "Yes but..." Swivel begins to protest, but she knows better. Especially when he follows Siegebreaker out the window. Swivel sighs. She looks to Hyperdrive and Blurr, then to Hound, then to the window. Well. She's eager to leave and go chew on everything said for a while and, once again, rethink her priorities. It's a work in progress.

Swivel, however, does not perform an act of voluntary defenestration. She instead she just looks up to Hound, his little toast, and weakly returns one of her own. She gulps down her drink, sets the empty cube in the appropriate receptacle, and turns to head to her room. Blurr and Hyperdrive can sort each other out without her input.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr finishes off the engex and claps Hyperdrive on the shoulder. "See, there ya go. You already have it all in your head, it's just a matter of recording it. Right? That's what your training was for. That's why everyone has to take the documentation track."

Heading for the door, he turns around and walks backward a few steps, still talking to Hyperdrive. "Not so hard after all, see?" Then he turns and leaves, ignoring Hot Rod's quip about Starscream. Though, he does shake his head at Swivel. "Don't let it bother you. He's just -really- good at making himself sound like a complete glitchead." Then--zip! He's gone.

Starlock has posed:
"Does no one know how to use a door..?"

She'd comment dryly, before huffing, and looking back to Hound, trying to calm herself down, grumbling to herself, wondering if she'd been to harsh. Finishing the dregs of her cube and continuing to listen to the other two... And then Blurr is gone, she raises a brow, raising her voice to ask again.

"Um.. whats this about Drones and attacking people..?"

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive frowns and is stillc completely confused as to what to write in this report. So instead he just decides to go back to his room and either stare at the datapad until he figures things outs or to go recharge. Either way it is better than just standing here.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock She'd make a face at being ignored, she hated being new, and huffed, sitting down on a near chair and getting out her datapad to see what was written in the reports.. only to squint at them.

"These barely tell me /anything/...Do these guys not know how to.. Ahhg" She'd plonk her head against the table.
