Release the Siege!
Date of Scene: 09 November 2018
Location: Autobot Command Center
Synopsis: Siege is awake, and Him, Starlock, and Hyperdrive have a chat.
Cast of Characters: Hyperdrive, Siegebreaker, Starlock

Starlock has posed:
It been hours... Hours of work, but it was done, Siege was finely at full repair, mud and such removed, dents and buffing done, paint, radio fixed, all systems up and functional, she also had removed the rope... All it was now was waiting for him to wake up.

Starlock felt awful about having to sedate him, but the temperatures he had been reaching scared her... She'd keep herself sat in the near chair, waiting, hands to herself.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker cleans up pretty well, all things considered. He still doesn't look very formidable or imposing, but that's just how he's built. And his coloration is just as depressing as before.

The only hint that he's coming back online is the uptick of activity on the monitors. He doesn't move, doesn't make a sound. He doesn't even boot up his optics.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock would sit there, waiting, shifting uncomfortably with how quite everything was.

She'd look over at him, a bit happy with her work, he'd was back to fully functioning, and thats what was wanted, even if he wouldn't be happy with her... She'd also worked to get him some better cooling fluid, given the hint of just /how/ hot he could get, likely something to do with his flamethrowers.

Something she really hopped would NOT be turned on her when he wakes, and hopped he didn't hate her to much... She also had some energon cubes waiting for him.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker is fully awake now, even if he doesn't look it. He knows better than to fly off the handle and scream and throw things. Instead, he continues the facade, trying to piece together what's going on with sound alone.

He's aware that he's lying down, with all of the aches and pains and warnings from old injuries conspicuously absent. A good sign, perhaps?

Starlock has posed:
Indeed! The new cooling would likely feel better as well.. over all, he really should of felt better compared to before.

Starlock was still near, working on the datapad as she waited on some indication he was awake.. Or ready to speak, after all, she could see his vitals.

Siegebreaker has posed:
One of Siegebreaker's optics flickers on. He takes a very quick peek around, and swiftly powers it down - hoping that Starlock (why is she here, why is she always here, why is she always so close, why why why why why) doesn't notice the brief glow.

As he continues feigning recharge, he does a quiet check of his systems, what's working and what's not - ah, everything's working, good. First order of business? Seek help without alerting anyone...

Starlock has posed:
He could also move rather freely if he tried. Starlock looked rather unknowing, not actively trying to do anything to restrain him, just sitting there in her seat with her knees to her chest, datapad on top of her knees.

She'd let out a sad sigh, mumbling records she went though... She'd glance back to him then over to her knees.

"Systems at full and functional.. Fluids replaced, everything unjammed and repaired, paint and dents fixed, servos clean and working properly.. He should be okay to get his weapons back."

Siegebreaker has posed:
A brief radio signal goes out, originating from the supposedly recharging Siegebreaker. Perhaps the monitors might pick it up? At the very least, if Starlock looks at them, she'll probably be able to tell that he's online, just with his optics off.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock glanced up at one the monitors with his vitals, catching it, and started speaking, in a attempt to let him know he was safe, but also not in trouble.

"...Sorry about that, you where overheating badly, I was scared your energon may ignite, speaking of there should be a few cubes beside you. All your systems should be working properly now, everything broken fixed and unjammed.. speaking of, should look in a mirror."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker might have progressed from feigning recharge to feigning being dead. There's no authenticity in it, though. Especially with the monitors dutifully displaying a plethora of information on his systems. Which are starting to run hot again, as his levels of stress and fear rise.

Starlock has posed:
"It's okay, your not being restrained, in fact if you wish, your free to go."

She'd finely looked over, clearly something wrong, as she refused to approach him, and kept her distance.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Merely saying "you're free to go" is like flicking a switch. Siegebreaker's optics snap on and he sits up, disconnecting himself from the monitors with more force than necessary.

He tries to take that "you're free to go" as an invitation to escape the repair bay as fast as he can walk.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock doesn't stop him, nor try to speak, she watches him go, looking down at the floor quietly, listing to the only ambiance of the room.

"Guess I have a report to make.."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker heads straight for the exit and out. Thankfully, he has the sense not to run (or transform and race) through the hallways.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock would wait a bit before getting up, and picking up the still full cubes and start walking down the halls, not intending to follow Siege, but that is just the unfortunate same way their going.

She didn't say anything, and tried to keep quite, not to give him any indication she was following him, least not on purpose.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker's head snaps up, like he's a hunting dog that just caught scent of something. He looks back, and doesn't seem at all surprised to see Starlock there.

"Brig. I need to go - where? I need to find it. Quick."

Starlock has posed:
"The brig...? Uhhh"

She'd look confused, trying to think she'd not really explored all of this place. She'd bring up a small map of the area.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive has been sitting in his cell on the floor. His back is against the wall and he sighs softly to himself. Hey at least it's a new experience...right? Hyperdrive's first Brigtime... or something. Yep. He's miserable.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker continues his search without waiting for an answer. Where would a brig be? Someplace secure. Down and underground, perhaps? And that's the general direction Siege goes... though he's also looking for signs and directions that might point to the brig.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock lead the way with the small map she had, still rather quite, if not tense. She's rather quite as she tries to lead the way, going out of the med bay and through most of autobot command.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive would come out to meet them but...yeah he's stuck where he's at. SO he continues to sulk and think about the stuff he screwed up so far.

Siegebreaker has posed:
When they reach the brig, Siegebraker stops just outside it. "I don't know if we're allowed to go inside. Are we?"

Starlock has posed:
"I assume so, we are autobots after all..? We've not been told we can't."

She'd reply, trying to use logical thought, if they where not allowed, they'ed been told... Right?

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive shouldn't be under heavy guard. He's just here because..well...because he had to prove something or other. He hears voices but can't tell for sure who is there.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker steps inside and begins Hyperdrive Hunting.. He hasn't been outright told that he can't visit Hyperdrive, so in the mysterious workings of his mind, he should be okay. If he's told to leave, then he'll go. Simple.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock leads into the brig, although, hesitantly. Glancing around trying to find Hyperdrive, assuming that is who they came in here for given earlier.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive isn't hiding very well. He's in the first cell. Though He's quiet and sulking so he probably doens't pipe up when they first go by. He wonders what he was thinking. And if Swivel is going to smack him for being stupid.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker stops the moment he sees Hyperdrive, gazing down at the lone sulker. His form has changed a good bit since their last encounter - he's clean, painted, polished, and repaired.

"Hi," he says quietly.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock stopped hearing Siege speak up, and came over with her hands folded.

"...Hey Hyper.. Uhh... He's all repaired.. You really didn't need to cover like that."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive lifts his head, at first not recognizing Siegebreaker. He then looks to Starlock. "Why did ya come here?" He looks at Siegebreaker and smiles, "Ya clean up really nice. Glad yer doin better. Do ya feel better? Ready ta do stuff?"

Siegebreaker has posed:
"Yeah. I - want the glaive back. I want to - help. Do things." Oddly enough, Siegebreaker is positioning himself as far from Starlock as he can, while still remaining within Hyperdrive's field of view. "I feel good. Are we allowed here? I don't know if I am."

Starlock has posed:
And it would not go unnoticed, Starlock would actually step away to allow Siege full access to the area.

"Know there better ways you could of done that." She'd huff.

"Once I give Jazz or Hound the report you should get your glaive back soon... and be able to help." She'd mumble.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive says, "Jazz said he was gonna have Starlock check on me at some point. SO I don't see why ya wouldn't be allowed here. Not like yer tryin ta break me out or anythin. I'm glad you feel better. And I'm really sorry fer what I did." He gives starlock a slight smile, "Ya did a good job fixin him up. He looks great."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker twitches. "Give it to - to Hound. He's the one who gave the order." He's back to being agitated. "You said you shot me? I don't remember - I don't think you'd shoot me. If you did I must've done something to deserve it." His mouth twitches in a weak smile. "I'm sorry. It was me - why you're in there. Right?"

Starlock has posed:
Starlock gave a noise of acknowledgement to Siege, keeping her distance. Listing closely, and looking the room and brig over.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive's cheerful expression falls and he sighs, "You...you were tryin ta get away and I...I techvolted you. It's a stun attack I have. That way you couldn't hurt yourself or anyone. I'm sorry. If you'd have hurt anyone, they would have possibly locked you in here...or taken away your glaive for good or kicked you out. I coudln't let that happen." He shakes his head. "I...I didn't think this through really...but...but it seemed like the right thing to do."

Siegebreaker has posed:
"Oh." Siegebreaker stares at the ground. The wing-panels on his back slump slightly. "Then, um. I did deserve it. And you shouldn't be in there. We ... I need to fix this."

Starlock has posed:
"We'll figure it out, I.. wanted to tell Jazz otherwise, but I really wasn't put in the spot to do or say anything"

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive shakes his head, "No...this way everyone mostly stays out of trouble. I can deal with gettin brigged. I...I'll be fine. But you didn't want ta be poked and prodded...well this is my way of makin sure you aren't. Now...all you have ta do is convince Jazz and you get your glaive. He...he wasn't gonna brig me but I was afraid of Prowl getting suspicious...it's only fer a little while longer. I'll be fine. I swear."

Siegebreaker has posed:
"I - look at me -" Siegebreaker gestures at his freshly repaired form. "I was poked and prodded. It - it really didn't matter - not in the end. I think - the reports, the newest one, did you see it? Inquiries go to Prowl. What's he like? I haven't met... I don't think I've met him."

Starlock has posed:
"He was the one over seeing that training session on our first few days here" She'd say quietly.

She'd shuffle a bit, listening to the two, oddly quite and keeping to the back wall.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive frowns, "Either way, I'll be fine. I just...I just wanted you ta be better. I'm sorry that things went this way. Prowl is one of the higher ups. He's not the friendliest. Jazz is super nice and friendly in comparison. I knew I could talk ta Jazz. Not sure if Prowl would understand.:

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker tilts his head slightly. He doesn't seem to believe that Jazz is super nice and friendly - the disbelief is clear on his face. "I think I know his voice, then. Um... maybe - maybe we stick to telling Hound because he told me to get repaired..."

Starlock has posed:
"Hound would be an idea...He does seem reasonable." She'd add quietly, poking her fingers together.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive says, "Hound is a nice guy. Either way...Ya'll aughta go relax...or work on yer rooms and stuff. There's plenty of fun stuff fer yas ta do in the barracks. I'll be okay. This is the least that I deserve."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker looks at Starlock, then at Hyperdrive, and pads quietly right up to the bars of the cell.

He settles down, seating himself cross-legged (or as close to that position as a Cybertronian can) right in front of Hyperdrive's prison.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock would watch the two and huff, a slight smile forming on her face. She'd keep away though, leaning on the wall, staying there with them.

"I don't think it's fair to leave you alone in here."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive sighs. "But...I attacked you...it...it's gonna look fishy that yer in here...unless we just say yer starin at me ta make sure I suffer. Gah....You two....Yer not makin this easy."?

Siegebreaker has posed:
"We can talk, can't we?" Siegebreaker idly traces squiggles on the floor with his fingertip. "Just 'cause we fought - did we fight? - doesn't mean we have to be mad at each other forever. I don't want to make you suffer."

Starlock has posed:
"I'd.. not really call it a "fight"..." Starlock would add, as she took a seat.

"Honestly I don't.. think you where aware at all with it...Where you?"

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive grins faintly and sits on the floor on the other side of the bars. "I zapped you and knocked you out. I did the same to Blast off once. I then....then told Jazz that I thought you were disrespecting me and that I had to put you in your place and even asked him to take a picture of me standing on you. I sounded like the biggest jerk but I wanted everyone focused on me and not on you."

Siegebreaker has posed:
"I - zone out, sometimes. It's normal, for me, that is. Happens. As long as I can remember." Siegebreaker smiles at the floor and the invisible squiggles on it. "I don't remember it. But, thank you. For doing it. I don't like focus on me. Especially if it means I'm in trouble."

Starlock has posed:
"I.. Know it's strange since we've not know each other for long but, you.. are someone I and I do believe Hyperdrive want to help." She'd frown, looking to the side.

"I know I feel awful for what I had to do.."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive says, "Friends sometimes do things fer the their friends even when it's unwanted....Because they care. And it doesn't help that I failed my other friends. I...i had ta do somethin. Even if you didn't want me to."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker frowns slightly, clenching and unclenching his hand over his chest. "I'll do the same. For you. I need the glaive back." He drops both hands into his lap. "I'm not angry at you. I'm grateful. For the help."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock glanced to the side, part of her felt like he wasn't' talking to her, she'd quite down then, letting the two speak, she'd hug her legs and quietly listen.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive makes a face. "I'm not the strongest mech....but I'm used ta being rather slick and all when I need ta be. It's served me well. Do me a favor though. If ya come across a mech named QUake...don't fight him. he's dangerous. And he'lll take one look at you and want ya fer his games. He likes mechs that can fight well."

Siegebreaker has posed:
"I don't know if I can fight well." Siegebreaker's head jerks towards Starlock, ever so slightly, and he scoots a foot or so towards her. "I know I can fight - it's what I'm for - but am I good? I don't know. Who's Quake?" He pauses, as if scanning his memory banks, then says, "I am not afraid of him."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock glanced to his foot movement, then up at him as if questioning.

"I dunno if I am /good/ but I am decent enough to shoot a con in the face.. What ya think Hyperdrive? You saw me in that real fight."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive glances at Starlock, "Ya don't duck enough. Hit and move...yer a medic first. We need ya ta heal those that are hurt probably more than havin ya attack. He then looks at Siegebreaker, "quake is evil...and you can fight better than me...it was all that mattered....it was...." He stares at Siegebreaker. His optics focusing on the mech's chest and he vibrates a bit in agitation.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker doesn't press the issue. "If he hurts the Autobots, my friends, allies, the innocent and helpless - then I'll fight him." He smiles, a bright, genuine smile that makes his optics shine all the more. "I'm not afraid of him. I'll fight him."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock frowned, scooting a little closer, he wasn't wrong, but nodded slowly, and sympathetically. She then looked to Siege a frown of worry.

"He's not...currently around, right?"

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive says, "You don't want to fight him. Besides...I'll be the one fightin him. I went after him once. I BURNED my name into his hide so he wouldn't forget me. He's too dangerous to fight. He'll kill you. I trained and trained and trained against him in a holosimulator. There's video of how many times I died against it. But it paid off. Ya have to understand. I can still see Barreler's friendly face. He was laughin...Tap out had just crashed off the side of the road. WE didn't hear the shot....Barreler just had this look on his face as the blast took out his chest...there...there was nothin ta save. I don't want ta see that happen to you."

Siegebreaker has posed:
The smile gradually fades away. Siegebreaker's fingers twitch and flex, like they're trying to close around something that simply isn't there.

"You say that like - like you have to fight him alone. You don't." His hands clench. "You won't fight him alone. I'll be there. Because if you - if he kills you, then... someone else will have to see it happen. To you."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock nodded. "Not to mention then your other friends would have to bury you.." She'd frown.

She wasn't trying to be heartless, logical mainly, in what would happen.

"And I rather that not happen.. "

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive says, "Stuff happens. I don't want ta die but I need ta see if I can find out what happened ta my other friend. Otherwise....what sorta mech am I if I just leave him...ya know?""

Siegebreaker has posed:
"And that goes for us, too. What kind of Autobots are we if we leave you to fight alone?" Siegebreaker's hands are still flinching. "I want to help. In here." He thunks a fist firmly against his chestplate. "It feels right. And you... you took the blame for me here. I owe you."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock would smile a bit more, looking from Siege to Hyperdrive, her optics dimming slightly.

"If anything, gives me more reason to become a better medic." She'd nod.

"...Just please don't do anything dumb, or alone, both of you, Eheheh first few people I've really met."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive frowns, "I really don't want anyone else hurt. ANd I put off doing this before for Swivel." He isn't liking the idea of being followed. "Just focus on finishing yer classes."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker nods, looking a little more like his usual twitchy, morose self. "A-alright, then."

He actually looks hurt, as if Hyperdrive had just punched him straight in the spark.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock gave Hyperdrive this.. /look/ this judging parent look at him, specially with how poor siege deflated... She'd take the two Energone cubes from her subspace and offered them to the two.

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive frowns and stands. "W-what do you want me ta say? Yeah, I want you along ta die too? I want ta see your look of surprise before your chest melts before my very optics. I want to see you fall to the ground...never ta laugh or smile again." He hugs his arms to himself. "You remind me so much of him. I don't know why. Swivel is....is my closest friend. She trusted me with anything. And...and I screwed that up."

Siegebreaker has posed:
"I don't want you to say - I'm not - I don't expect an answer, or ...anything. I just want to protect you, and the others, and..." Siegebreaker stands as well, though his posture is a little slumped. He opens his mouth to continue, realizes that he doesn't know what to say, and closes his mouth so that he can try to come up with something. This process repeats several times. Eventually, he gives up on trying to talk, and does what he does when he reaches his limits of comfort: He slinks off with his head down.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock frowned, she'd leave Hyperdrive the cube, sitting there awkwardly away from the cell, but at the same time, not to near, thinking on what he said, trying to figure out what to say herself.

"....Living alone.. is not a good way to live, believe me.."

Hyperdrive has posed:
Hyperdrive watches Siegebreaker walk away and turns to moves back to his corner. He shakes his head, "I dont' want yas hurt...." He wraps his arms around his legs. "WHy can't yas understand that."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock would glance to the side. "Because I think you ended up making friends with two equally lonely bots." She'd give a weak smile.

"Eheheh I think it doesn't help I think your kinda sorta both their first."
