Cast of Characters: First Aid, Siegebreaker, Starlock

Starlock has posed:
Starlock was waiting inside the medbay, still to tired from her showdown at Rodion to really do any work, She looked as tired as she felt, having fallen asleep at Rodion in Ratchet's office here...

But upon hearing Siegebreaker on the Autobot Channel, she came to medbay to check on him, or at least wait to see him, she had her hands folded as she leaned on the wall. She'd not seen him in a number of Cycles, and wondered how he was doing.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Unsteady footsteps herald the arrival of a patient. They stop just outside the medbay, and Siegebreaker peeks in. He looks somewhat out of sorts, and is leaning against the wall for support. There's a few flecks of something that vaguely resembles drying energon around his mouth and chin.

First Aid has posed:
First Aid is in medbay, checking on the injured from The Rodian encounter. He hears Siegebreaker's call as well, coming to check in on him. "Oh you're here. Good. Come in come in." He motions to a table. "Let me get a scan on you and we can get to work."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock remained at the wall on seeing him, something about her demeanor had changed, it was... A bit less rigid? Perhaps.. She frowned at seeing Siege's state, her ridges knitting, but she waited till First Aid had him in the med-berth, before saying anything, and not moving from her spot.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker's wings twitch slightly. He hunches his shoulders, forces himself to smile, and shuffles towards the indicated table.

"Hi," he says quietly as he climbs up and perches on the table's edge. It's immediately obvious what's wrong: something seems to have loosened his armor plating. He catches sight of Starlock by the wall and shifts uncomfortably, but also greets her with, "Hi."

First Aid has posed:
First Aid beelines for that armor plating. "So lets get this off and start checking the circuitboards underneath. If you have any pain, let me know." he starts to remove one of Siegebreaker's armor plating, looking for loose wiring and energon lines. He waves to Starlock "You're next."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock gave a small smile at that, her head fins twitching in response to his wings. "Your looking pretty rough, are you okay? What happen?" She'd ask, not leaving her spot before giving First Aid a look.

"I'm fine Aid, I wasn't harmed during my and Lynx's defense of Rodion.. I uh.. merely just had a anxiety attack after." She'd huff, glancing away, clearly embarrassed.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker flinches once, then does his best to hold still after that. He looks away from First Aid and the sight of his plating being removed, staring hard at the doors instead. Luckily, he looks too worn-out to struggle, argue, or put up a fight.

First Aid has posed:
First Aid nods "You're doing good. So tell me, Siegebreaker. What happened?" he asks as he checks the wire. He starts to pound the dents out of that armor once its removed. "That's still damage, Starlock. Its ok to feel a little anxious, but if it gets out of control see one of us."

Starlock has posed:
"I kept it under-control until I got to the safety of Ratchet's office, and promptly fell into recharge there... People keep saying for me to See Rung."

She'd sigh, rolling her optic, but she wasn't really going to argue anything else, it still made her uncomfortable though.. She gave a encouraging smile to Siege, she was relaxed, despite how uncomfortable she seemed of the talk about her freak out. She was slightly wondering what had happened as well, noting the energon on his lip.

Siegebreaker has posed:
There isn't too much damage on the fidgety mech. It's either minor or superficial. His energon levels are extremely low, though, which would explain why he's so wobbly.

"Um." Siegebreaker taps his fingers on the table. "I bit someone."

First Aid has posed:
First Aid tilts his head. "You..bit someone? Who?" he checks Siegebreaker's mouth for injuries.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock stared for a moment, then snorted a laugh, she'd cover her mouth and look away, holding back giggles. Clearly he'd said something that amused her in a strange morbid way.

"Lotta biting been going on the past couple of mega cycles."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker's mouth looks fine. No damage.

"I... don't know." Siegebreaker looks confused and slightly worried, like he can't remember who he bit or why he bit said person.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock was still smiling, but it had changed into one of concern, a worrying thought crossing her mind, specially with the low energon levels. She didn't approach though, She didn't want to spook Siege.

"Well.. you where at the Mitteous Plateau.. So perhaps it was a Con you where fighting." She'd nod, trying to help the poor bot remember what he'd done, to at least sooth some worry.

First Aid has posed:
First Aid seems concerned while hes working "Well..be careful next time. You dont have fangs, so that cant be good for your mouth."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker opens his mouth. Sure enough, he does have fangs... sort of. They're small, but pointy. He shrugs his shoulders.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock let out a small chuckle, she knew that was coming poor First aid, learning the oddities of Siege. "Hrm...Your energon levels are pretty low, must of been going all out, out there, want me to get you a cube?"

She didn't want to mention he may need an energon-drip, last thing they needed to mention was needles.

First Aid has posed:
First Aid blinks "Well what do you know. Fangs." he says ."YOu do need to refuel, though. If you need a cube, let me know." He says. "I'd recommend a energon-drip,but only if you feel up to it."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker manages a tiny, tiny grin at that. "Cube is fine. Just... tired. It bit me first so I bit back."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock's head shot up at that, and her optics narrowed. "Waait... did.. Did you get hit by the 'Energon Vampire' Lynx told us about?" Her tone had gotten worried, she'd let out a grunt though, trying to catch herself.

"Erm, well that is the crude term we're using, Ratchet thinks it's probably just a mech with some weird modifications and not an /actual/ one."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker goes silent. He doesn't show any reaction towards the "Energon Vampire" term, and doesn't seem concerned whatsoever. Another shrug from him.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock looked to First aid, and then Siege, and then sighed. "Uhhh.. Well, basically someone was badly damaged by what Sky Lynx described, and called, an Energon vampire, on the con's side, a bot that basically was leeching energon off others... And Blast off." She'd rub at the back of her neck, wanting to change the subject, it clearly had her uncomfortable.

"Are you going to be alright, Siege?"

First Aid has posed:
First Aid winces "Eww. So this vampire is a con then?" He asks. "Something we have to fight in the future, I suppose."

Siegebreaker has posed:
"I'm fine," Siege replies quickly. Too quickly, maybe? "Just tired. Very tired. I don't know what bit me. It was small." That tiny grin reappears. "Bite-sized."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock was unable to stop herself form full out laughing at what Siege had stated, she snorted a lot when she laughed, and grinned at him. "Siege, that joke was a 'bit' to on the nose" She'd giggle.

"I'm glad.. your okay." She'd nod. "Not seen you for a while, been doing okay-- Err I mean, what have you been up-to?" She'd say, catching herself to stop form sounds repetitive.

First Aid has posed:
First Aid chuckles. "Yeah I see." He puts the armor plate back on. "Well thats all I can do for now. Rest and let htat heal will you?"

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker nods meekly and curls up on his side, about as much as a robot can curl up. He looks comfortable, though he doesn't seem like he's up to talking just yet. All he does is watch Starlock, like eye contact is supposed to transmit his reply.

First Aid has posed:
First Aid watches over those taht are supposed to be healing. He nods 'Just try to get some rest. Both of you. We can talk about things when you're better."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock gave him a smile and moved near, well not too near, she moved to her chair which wasn't to far, and pulled out a datapad. "Soo..." She'd start, watching to see if there was any hint of her being allowed to come closer.

"Eeech, I'm fine." She'd wave her hand dismissively. "Actually Aid.. you uh... aware of what happen with Ratchet?"

First Aid has posed:
First Aid pause. "I heard a little bit but.. what exactly happened? What I heard doesn't sound anything like him at all."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock would inch her Chair, little by little closer to Siege, watching for a reaction as she sighed and pulled out her report. "I'm not completely sure, I arrived on scene after what had happen, happen." A frown would grown onto her face, something of her features hardening into some anger.

"But it was only a few hours after I'd gotten out of being held hostage in his partner, Gallo's, ship... From what I.. Understand, Greymatter was demanding me be reassigned or resigned... Like he'd tried to Blackmail Ratchet into signing off on it, like how he did at Deltaran with that budget document."

She'd lay her head back, and closed her optics. "I can't go into too much detail, but greymatter was also holding hostages with rifles.... So Ratchet threw a wrench to knock him off balance and it hit his head and... there was so much blood, to much, that shouldn't of..."

She trailed off as she noticed a new report notice on the data pad.

First Aid has posed:
First Aid nods "Yeah, I agree with what the reports say." He say. "Ratchet was set up. Theres no way hes responsible for this."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock smiled at hearing First Aid's words, she was glad to hear some many to be in Ratchet's corner... Not doubting him for a second. "...I agree, Me and Rod have been working togather to try and figure out just what the heck is going on... Planning on going back to Macc's soon to talk to Gallo's bartender again, since things with 'er aren't making sense."

She'd inch closer to Siege again, one of her hands finding it's way onto Siege's berth as she reads over the new report, lifting a ridge. "...Wait this doesn't slagging make sense even for.. uuhg" She'd set the Datapad down and pinch her nose bridge.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker speaks up, quietly.

"You're doing it again. The thing I kept saying that you do. Why?"

Starlock has posed:
Starlock frowned and suddenly pushed herself away form the berth, and focused on the datapad more heavily. "Right.. sorry.." She'd reply softly. she'd fold on leg over the other, and placed her free elbow onto it, planting her cheek into the free hand, hemming in thought.

She'd gone quite at First Aid's question, finding herself embarrassed and ashamed.

Siegebreaker has posed:
"Gets close. Too close. Pokes. Talks. Asks questions. Touches. She does it again and again and again and doesn't stop. I don't know why. I've told her before." Siegebreaker tucks himself into a tighter ball. "Why? I want to know. Why? Why do you do it?"

First Aid has posed:
First Aid doesnt ask again, but he looks between the two quietly. "If you want to talk.."

Starlock has posed:
"I just.." She frowned, keeping her optics on the data pad, her tone had dropped considerably into soft mumbles... Kicking herself mentally once more, she just wanted to get up and leave but..

Stop trying to run away from your problems.
Apologizes don't mean scrap.
/Stop it./

Where all thoughts that went through her head... She glanced up from the datapad to First Aid, and then to Siegebreaker, as if asking if it was okay...

First Aid has posed:
First Aid frowns under his mask ."Starlock, seriously. You can tell us. We wont judge you. You're our friend." he says softly.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker might be huddled into the smallest space he can possibly occupy, but the stare he's giving Starlock is unyielding. "Why?" he repeats.

Starlock has posed:
Oooh this was bad, she could feel the anxiety just now assaulting every part of her body, which was making it hard for her to speak.. What could she even say? That she felt safe or comfortable around him? That she just wanted to make everything better? That she liked him, and was trying to get to know him? As if anyone would believe it was just simply /that./

Hell she didn't even genuinely believe that, she knew she wasn't normally a touchy person. No one did things without a reason, without a cause, or without wanting something, and that reason alone made her feel like anything she said would likely just sound like disingenuous bullscrap.

She was back at her desk, not facing the group, but they could likely tell by her hunched over posture she was trying to find the words to say.

"I...I..Don't.. know how.. to explain it."

First Aid has posed:
First Aid tilts his head, looking between the two of them. "Would it be better if I erm. Left you alone?" He asks. "I know you two know each other better and I dont want to be a third wheel."

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker's gaze slides over to First Aid. "I don't know. She might - I don't know what she'll do if you're not here. I don't know what /I'll/ do if you're not here."

Starlock has posed:
Why was this so hard to say? and figure out for that matter, It was like Ratchet, wasn't it? She'd not left his side since the whole accident with Greymatter happened. She didn't want to leave him alone, because that.. That could of ended horribly, and he needed to know someone was there for him... Siegebreaker had been alone in those ruins for so long without anyone and..

She felt horribly stupid. She'd take in a vent and put on a more professional face. "I'm sorry."

Stop apologizing..

"I just.." She'd vent out, trying to stuff down her emotions.

"...I just.. Want to get to know you.. and..."
Stop, no one will believe you... You sound like a creep.

"Ensure you.. know i'm here for you.."
Stop, you sound like your pretending you know him.

"...Not going to end up alone again.."
You should leave.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker's gaze slides back to Starlock.

"You know that - you realize, you can get to know me from far away. Without touching me. Or standing so close." He taps an audio receptor. "I have these. They work."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock finds herself a little stunned, not looking back at him but... That was it..? That is all he had to say? That.. That wasn't as bad as she was expecting... Still.. She'd move her helm ever slightly to look back at him, trying to hide the fear the anxiety had placed in her optics.

"..I..Alright. I'm just... not used to interacting with others, so again I am.. really sorry I made you feel uncomfortable."

Siegebreaker has posed:
"Then why do you keep doing it?" Siegebreaker asks bluntly. "I've told you before, right? I don't know if I'm remembering right. So. You tell me. I've told you before?"

Starlock has posed:
Nope, there it was, and she flinched, looking away back at the computer and datapad... Had he told her before..? She couldn't remember, she didn't like that, she was always forgetting important things, but only remembered the smallest of details, unless it was something traumatic, then she couldn't ever forget it.

"I... I don't know." Her throat felt rather dry, it was very hard for her to force words out. "...I'll.. make sure it doesn't happen again though.." Her voice would drop to a much more quite tone, fidgeting with her fingers.

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker finally stops staring and settles his head on his arm. He relaxes, the tension bleeding out of his posture. "Okay. Thanks. That's all, really. I don't mind talking - I think. It's just the touching and following and... all that. That's what makes me - that's what gets me. Talking is fine. Should be fine."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock glanced back, seeing him relax.. Was this.. really just the struggles of learning personal space boundaries..? She'd vent in deeply to try and calm herself. She glanced down to the floor.

You should consider yourself lucky, because next time you wont be...

"...Alright.. um.." She'd glance away. "Just.. Know I'm here to talk, or just be around whenever you need, alright?"

Siegebreaker has posed:
Siegebreaker doesn't answer. While he isn't being as overtly apprehensive as he'd been earlier, he's noticably withdrawn. Then again, he might just be resting.

Starlock has posed:
Starlock vents out another breath as she pushes the intrusive thoughts to the back of her head lowering her tone in attempt to cover up what she would mumble out. "I just want to be sure you know your not going to end up alone again.."

I promise..
...You shouldn't make promises you can't keep.

And with those words, she'd return to her optics to the datapad, starting to chew on the stylus, lost in thought. "I need to talk to Hot Rod.."

Siegebreaker has posed:
"I'm not alone. I'm an Autobot. I have my duty. I know what I have to do." Siegebreaker sure sounds confident in that. "Go and talk to him. I'm okay."

Starlock has posed:
Starlock glanced over and gave a weak smile, she didn't want to burst his bubble there... Not yet anyway, but she did know what she could say. "Ahh it still get's lonely sometimes." She'd chuckle, and boy, did she know it.

"Should try talking to him sometime.. He's.. a lot nicer then he lets on." She'd nod. It seems the young flammo had earned a bit more then her respect in the time Siege wasn't around.
