Accurate is an Effect
Name Accurate
Status Available
Cost (CP) 2
Rare No
Your Accuracy with this Attack is excellent.

Description[ | ]

Having this effect on an attack will make it more accurate! Not incredibly flashy or unusual, the benefit is kinda hidden within the very random chance-to-hit. The attack will, however, be more likely to hit, which is pretty much never a bad thing!

This can be seen on weapons that have a built-in reason to be more accurate such as heat-seeking missiles, or attacks that the user is especially proficient with, what might be their specialty or favorite weapon.

Strategy[ | ]

It's essentially never bad! I guess if you are confused it might be bad. But it is basically always good to have, especially on a main/primary weapon that you will use more than others, to get the most use out of the effect. It's cheap and can be worked into essentially any type of weapon or build.

Good against speedier guys, offsetting thier advantage in this sometimes-miss heavy system. An Accurate paired with another useful effect like Cripple is even better, helping to ensure you get your debuff on the other guy, either for yourself or to help less-accurate teammates get a hit on the bad guy.

Against less-agile opponents, you may be able to use a Guarded or Protected defense level and still have good hit rate, with an Accurate attack, which makes you less likely to be hit.

Accurate does not cost any energon to use, along the logic that putting a sights on a rifle to improve the accuracy of the rifle does not make the rifle use more bullets, so Accurate is useful on Area-Attacks and in conjunction with the Efficient effect. An Accurate Efficient attack does end up spending 2+2=4 CP on Accurate and Efficient and is not very glamorous compared to flashier effects, but you'll be able to use it very often in battle, which can make it a good, midrange standby.
