{{Quotable|Text=My work is a monument to -- and of -- my enemies.}} {{Character-infobox |name =Scrapper |faction =Decepticon |function =Engineer |species =Cybertronian |type =DFC |rank =5 |alt mode = Payloader |Char_id = 128}} {{Single Datasheet (Full)|Title=Profile|Text=Scrapper is capable of designing and building almost any structure or machine needed for the war effort, from great fortresses to simple maintenance and repairs. Modest and congenial, but shows his true malevolent genius by artistically incorporating the remains of the enemy into his creations. In vehicle mode his shovel can lift over 30 tons and cut through solid carbon-steel alloy, but is prone to stress damage if overused. }} {{Single Datasheet (Full)|Title=Personality||Text=Scrapper is not your typical evil genius, simply in that he lacks the ego that is often applied to the archetype. Ego is Hook's domain. Instead Scrapper is modest and at least by Decepticon standards good-natured, taking admiration only for his own work that's been done right and reliably. He is as dedicated to his craft as he is the Decepticon cause, and not afraid of doing the hard work himself. He doesn't just design projects for others and order them around, he's in there getting his hands and shovel just as dirty as the rest, the type of foreman that's just as willing to put in his own time and effort as his crew. While he's not a warrior by nature Scrapper is dedicated to his role and will venture onto the battlefield when necessary to fufill it without complaint, be it building fortifications and tearing down the enemies (preferably with them to be crushed inside). He is a leader by effort and example, and actually having some concern for his allies beyond body shields and cannon fodder. Don't let the congenial nature fool you though. Scrapper is every bit as sadistic as the next Decepticon, in his own ways. He has no issue with being an engineer of war, he happily builds things that will be used to cause death and suffering to others, because he is dedicated to the cause it is for. And in his own malevolent way Scrapper is an artist as well. He delights in taking the remains of the enemy, be it the ruins of their structures or the pieces of their soldiers, and incorporating them into his creations. Remember when he designed a throne built out of the chassis of Autobots deactivated after getting lost in a giant maze? When Prime's arm and rifle were turned into a defense turret? Sometimes its more for show than for effective use than that, but it's twisted all the same. While it may be some artistic expression, unlike that prissy architect Grapple, he doesn't care that much of his work is going to end up being damaged, destroyed and demolished. Scrapper will just pick of the wreckage, both of the previous structure and those that destroyed it, and build something new and better from the remains. When Scrapper says he put the robotic equivalent of blood sweat and tears into his work, he can very well be talking literally, and not about his own either. }} {{Single Datasheet (Full)|Title=Background|Text=While not as directly or as severely as others Scrapper still suffered from the hands of the Senate. Their drastic reductions in time and materials allowed for labor nearly put him and his brothers out of work. Until Megatron recruited them to build new arenas for the illicit gladiator battles, and strip them down again when they needed to move. A difficult job but with his skills and his crew to support him Scrapper pulled off doing so from what was literally lying around in scrap and fallen competitors. There was no love spared for the old government, and when Megatron turned his efforts to actual revolution, Scrapper and the Constructicons were right there to fit soldiers with weapons and armor. They had already earned his admiration for their reliable work, and Megatron had Scrapper's devotion for his respect and determination. His crew has grown to be the backbone of the industrial side of the Decepticon war machine, making sure all the gears are in the right place and capable of crushing their enemies between them. }} {{Single Datasheet (Full)|Title=Skills & Abilities|Text=Engineering - Scrapper is first and foremost an engineer. It's his life and his passion, both in that it is what he was made to do, and what he enjoys doing. Though it often overlaps with being a medic and sometimes a scientist. Even with his twisted habit of reusing enemy parts for artistic flourish Scrapper is more than capable, both in designing and the actual construction, and this is what the rest of the faction admires him for. Also because unlike some other techs he's not an smug afthole about it. Organization - It's not just about building the best structures and deadliest weapons. A lot of logistics and planning go into a project. Many jobs need to be done and not even Scrapper can do them all, which is why everything needs to be organized thoroughly. Having been doing this as long as he's been functional, and having to keep a team of such varied skills and attitudes working in harmony, it's little surprise he's nearly as good at organizing as he is doing the actual building. TACS Abilities - Construction, Reinforce}} {{Single Datasheet (Full)|Title=Weaknesses|Text=Dissension - Not by Scrapper, but for him. He's one of Megatron's favorites because of his hard-working attitude, reliability, and not trying to constantly stab him in the back for his own gain. This, despite his otherwise admirable attitude, does make him a target for those who want bigger pieces of the energon pie. Even his own teammates occasionally undermine his efforts be it intentional or not; from Hook's ego believing he should be the better, to Mixmaster's erratic mentality, or Long Haul and Bonecrusher wanting to work less and fight more. Working Overtime - Scrapper is always busy, because he almost never says no to a project since they are how he expresses himself both as an engineer and an artist. On top of that he believes in absolute quality and not cutting corners. As skilled of a designer and capable as a leader as he is, not much can be done about projects taking longer than anticipated when his plate is full, and the enemy having more opportunity to intervene before they're complete. Team Effort - Scrapper is not a solo player. He works best when he has a team to support and supporting him, be it his fellow Constructicons or other Decepticons. Since he's not a full time warrior like other Decepticons he can be overwhelmed if you manage to seperate him from potential assistance.

To upload an image, simply click the empty infobox template on this page where the image ought to be (it should show a broken link that says "80px") to bring up the file upload tool.
